"Scammers!! Asked for a chimney sweep and the employee did nothing, recommended we get a new fireplace and said he could not do anything because he did not have a manual for our chimney. I wasnt home at the time so I called the owner of the company asking why I paid for NOTHING. Said the employee would return my call and never did. I was also told the employee did not have a ladder so not sure how they were going to clean my chimney."

Each job is custom handled. Inspections are $100-250 with a full document and photo report and solution to the issue. Have me fix the issue and the inspection is free. "I contacted JV's Handyman Services through Angie's List Website and about 15 days ago, he came and quoted me a price for the work. He asked for a deposit and I gave him $500 as initial payment, he promised to get the job done, he scheduled and came back on Sept. 11th, he said that he needs to get some more additional materials and asked for more money, I gave $200, then went out to home depot, said that he will be back in half an hour, but after getting my money, he never came back and never showed up at all. I made hundred calls and hundred messages but he is not returning my calls and when called with a different number, heard my voice and totally hanged up, never takes my calls, totally ignoring my calls, and he already took $700 from me but never shows up to do the work. I don't want him to come into my house again, and all I want now is to get my money back so I can hire another company to finish the job for me."
