Danny came the same day, exactly when he said he would, and had the parts he needed in his truck ready to do the repair.

He was really expensive.  I got a Deal for $149, but he couldn't get it done in that time so he charged me another $250 to finish  sanding and paint the ceiling.  He was very busy and it was hard to even get an appointment.

Dan was absolutely amazing.  Our A/C had gone out on a 100 degree day and he deemed our situation an emergency and was able to come over within a few hours of our call to him.
He diagnosed the issue (bad capacitor) and did not tell us that we needed a new A/C unit (unlike the last person we called who said the unit was dead).  The unit was a little low on coolant, and he added coolant and cleaned the system.  Was up and running within an hour of him being here!
We would highly recommend using him again and again and again!

We began communicating with D&W right after we received the Angies List deal.  He was responsive - offering estimates for work to be completed and agreeing to the work that needed to be completed. 

He did not arrive on the originally scheduled day - and did not contact us, due to a family emergency.  We were able to reschedule and he came out the 2nd scheduled time and completed the job.

We found Dan very personable and he was informative regarding the work that was being performed and suggested helpful tips regarding what we should do and what we do not need which was nice.

Due to the missed first meeting date with no communications we're giving him a B because we still liked him and his work, but it would be better to make sure you are in contact with clients - even with emergencies as we all know they happen.

We would hire D&W again.

He did a fine job and it worked out well.

The first appointment scheduled needed to be postponed due to wet weather.  Before the appointment, the handyman contacted me by e-mail for info. about the tasks that I wanted him to do and materials needed.  He did not visit in advance.  On the date scheduled, he called 20 minutes before his arrival.  When I showed him the area that needed cement and filler, he told me that I would need different materials than I had.  So, I contacted a friend to pick up the supplies.  Until he arrived, the handyman worked on repairing the fence gates, sanding the door frame and painting it.  After the supplies arrived, he completed the cement work and filled some other cracks.  I was very pleased with his painting work.  The cement work could have been done more efficiently if he had visited the site earlier for planning.  Some work still remained to be done because we did not have the material recommended.

The cost of service was an Angie's List deal of $149 for 3 hours of service, not the regular price.  He arrived on time.  I had a list of services to be performed, including replacing an electical outlet, replacing batteries in a dozen fire alarms, repairing a fixture, changing lightbulbs in difficult fixtures, diagnosing a gas grill, and other tasks.  He did them all within the time alloted.

It was a two-man crew, they worked well together and their boss came out to check and see how things were going. I kept them an extra hour at full hour, because they were on a roll. They worked four hours for me. I was very happy with their work and I would call them back. The price was worth it; they got it done and did good work. The crew worked without talking. It was very efficient work; they were not mis-cutting things or mis-installing things. They worked like a well-oiled team. They did a lot of millwork. They did the windows, doors and baseboards. I would use them again.

After some back and forth about scheduling, the provider came in did the job.
The work was 75% effective.

He arrived on time, wanted to see the areas which needed work and told me in which order he would do the jobs.  He was friendly, answered all of my questions and cleaned up the work sites when he was finished.  I ended up having to call him to come back because my front door would not lock.  He came back within 3 hours and fixed the lock area, then made sure I was able lock and unlock.  I am very happy with all of the work he did and can't believe I waited so long to have it done.

Dan did a great job removing and installing the two toilets.
We're hoping to get him back to do some other jobs.  We feel like we've "found our handyman."

Danny was prompt and punctual. He is careful and meticulous in what he does. Since there was a little time left, he graciously consented to removing the old caulk in the kitchen by the sink and removing it. I just asked him a question about what can be done to clean the caulking that was there, and he quickly and graciously offered to replace the caulk. He was straightforward and professional. We will definitely use him again.

He cut out our drywall and put it in, but it turned out that he had to rescrew the ceiling, so it took a bit longer than the three hour time range.  He has told me that he was quite busy so it would be a while for him to come out and finish the job, but he’s been too busy to come out just yet.  He and his helper did a very nice job on the part where they were able to finish.  He had to screw in the ceiling on two sets of studs across the whole room, so I can understand how that can be time consuming.  Now I am waiting to hear back from him so that he can finish the job for me.

Danny (the owner) is always wonderful, always takes great care of us.  He discounted the cost of the repair,  researched the problem, and researched the warranty coverage for us.  We've been using him for all of our handyman/electrician/repairman/painting needs for years and have never regretted it.

He showed up on time. He reviewed the problem areas, explained what he needed to do and did the work. It was very professionally done and I don't expect the stairs to start sagging again.
