We got the paper work and everything from Dig-M-Installers. My wife got them from Angie's List. Their normal quote is 1029 dollars. I am getting a discount because it is before some date. I am getting it for 928. They are knocking off a 100 dollars. It was the only one on Angie's List and when we went on the phone book a lot of them sounded shaky. We took for granted that the one that Angie's List has was very good. The people that I came in contact with were very kind and very courteous. I saw an older man but to me they are all young as I am 70 years old. He was in his 40s and he was very nice. He was explaining to me how they would like to put it in, where they would like to put it, which would be the best situation where it won't cost me more money to have it done. They are very nice and clean. So far it is real good. They were very professional. Considering responsiveness, they were right back, right away. With this one man so far, it was very professional. I am waiting for them to install a pool and that is the next situation. I will know better once they install a pool."

Asked why they didn't edge obvious weeds along fence - response was "that looks like a flower bed" and deal did not include flower bed maintenance. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
