"Rich made the scheduling process easy. I called extremely early in the morning, before 7am, and he answered the phone and assisted me in making a last minute booking and patiently explained the process. Importantly, I am happy with the services received. I had my carpet in my condo cleaned because there were several ugly stains that I could not remove myself. Damian worked quickly and effectively to remove these stains. He did not rush the work but took his time to clean each room/carpet. I also had my hardwood floor cleaned. He first swept the floor, vacuumed before cleaning with a solution that made the floor feel and look clean. he also took his time removing 'sticky tapes' that were on the wood. That was alot of effort and time invested to ensure the floors were looking new and clean. I also did not feel they were trying to 'sell' me additional services. In essence, I am happy with the services received"

"D&H Demolition quickly demoed the carpet from my living, dining , and steps to the second floor. Replaced with re- claimed hardwood flooring which resulted in a significant cost savings for me. Replaced the flooring and steps with a satin finish that so beautiful that I keep getting comments. Work was timely completed and professionally done. I would definitely use their services again. Yes, a magic eraser can remove candle wax. You can use it to remove all the candle wax from start to finish. Another option is to remove all large clumps with a dull knife and then pull out your magic eraser to finish the job. However, while the results can be impressive, a magic eraser shouldn’t be used on all surfaces since it can potentially damage them. If you try this method, test a small, hidden spot first and proceed cautiously.

Commonly used in garages, epoxy is a synthetic resin coating that goes over the top of concrete surfaces. If you’re deciding between polished concrete and epoxy flooring, the best choice depends on your needs and personal preference. Epoxy is durable and highly customizable, while polished concrete tends to require less maintenance. They’re both long-lasting with similar price points, and professional installation is recommended for each.

You can buff out small scratches or indentations from your hardwood floor, but refinishing is your best bet if you have larger areas that need work. Floors in relatively good shape but have lost their luster can be restored with thorough buffing. If your finish has worn off in areas or if you have sun or water damage, you should go with refinishing instead.

Before installing shoe molding, evaluate redoing or refinishing any floors and painting your walls or baseboard before putting on your shoe molding. If you don’t already have baseboard trim, you should install that before adding shoe molding. Shoe molding is the final touch. Additionally, a carpenter or other professional that’s installing shoe molding might also give you a deal on installing crown molding and replacing other trim if you get them done at the same time.

Regular cleaning, avoiding harsh chemicals, and periodic resealing extend its lifespan.
