Small jobs welcome

"The Skilled Maids crew arrived on time. We discussed what needed to be done. I had them do their whole house cleaning with emphasis on the kitchen and the bathroom. I also had the additional efforts of cleaning the refrigerator and cleaning/dusting the inside of the kitchen cabinets (they don't do that unless specified/ordered). The cleaning crew that did the job had cleaned my house before. They were quick, efficient, and did their usual great job."

"Rich was very responsive and fit us into his schedule quickly prior to our house going on the market. He explained the carpet cleaning process to us, and the carpet looks as good as new!"

"Extra Green Cleaning Services did an amazing job cleaning my new home. I wasn't sure how I was going to thoroughly clean the house after all of the showings during COVID, but Extra Green took care of it!! The house is now move-in ready and smells amazing!!"

"Flor and her crew did an outstanding job cleaning my house. I have used many cleaning services before and not one of them came close to Flor’s professionalism and hard work. I’ve never seen my house so clean before. Flor pays attention to every detail. So many other cleaning services wipe vacuum and run, but not Flor. She scrubbed everything that needed to be scrubbed. She washed the floors and yes, I mean washed. The floors need to be washed and not wiped. My house is clean from top to bottom. They did not miss a thing. Flor and her crew even wore shoe covers so that they did not walk on the carpets and all over the house with wet street shoes. I am thrilled to have met Flor and I am excited about continuing to use her services. Her prices are reasonable and competitive. Give her company a try, you will not regret it!"

"They are the best cleaners I have ever seen. I am 80 years old and I used to clean houses myself after I retired from the florist industry for 40 years. I cleaned 2 secret service agents homes for 4 years. I also cleaned 4 other homes. I earned about 15 hundred per month."

"The Complete Green Cleaning team was very professional and friendly. Before cleaning they checked the whole house and verified any issues they saw, such as a slightly damaged lamp, or items we had accidentally left behind. They provided me with a time estimate after seeing the house, which I thought was reasonable, and stuck to that in their bill. After the cleaning, I was very impressed with their attention to detail - everywhere I looked was extremely well cleaned, including stairs with difficult vinyl tread, fridge, oven, closets, etc. I recommend this company!"

House Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No. There are other ways to sanitize and disinfect your washing machine, including white vinegar, vinegar and baking soda, citric acid, or hydrogen peroxide.

Putting off cleaning your fridge is a bad idea for a few reasons. For one, any food spills can build up, making it much harder to clean your fridge when you finally do get around to it. Plus, any stray pickle juice or leaky leftovers are a recipe for a stinky fridge.

But beyond that, if you don’t clean your fridge, it could be a health hazard. Old food can turn moldy and old spills can too. Even if none of that scares you, putting off cleaning your fridge will make it look downright gross, which should be reason enough to break out your sponge.

Depending on the size and condition, it may take between two to five hours.

Yes, you should clean your toilet tank at least once every six months or once every three months if you live in an area with hard water. Toilet tanks often go ignored, which can lead to issues with mineral deposits from the water causing issues with the moving parts. A routine cleaning twice a year with vinegar will help keep the tank clean and prevent excessive mineral deposits from causing issues.

One of the best ways to prepare for a home biohazard cleanup is not to touch anything. Do not remove belongings, even if they are of value or importance, from the area as they are likely contaminated. It’s essential not to use any cleaning products of your own, as the cleaning company will be using chemicals that could interact with your products.

One thing you can do to prepare is take pictures of your space and belongings that need to be cleaned, especially if you plan on filing a claim with your insurance company. In addition, take time to make a list of items that are valuable, sentimental, or otherwise important. The cleanup company must evaluate these belongings to make sure they are safe.
