"The Skilled Maids crew arrived on time. We discussed what needed to be done. I had them do their whole house cleaning with emphasis on the kitchen and the bathroom. I also had the additional efforts of cleaning the refrigerator and cleaning/dusting the inside of the kitchen cabinets (they don't do that unless specified/ordered). The cleaning crew that did the job had cleaned my house before. They were quick, efficient, and did their usual great job."

For anyone inexperienced in carpet cleaning (like I was), make sure you document any dark marks or discoloration in the carpets, particularly on the edges/corners of the room. Due to the additional cleaning necessary, it can increase the price, and it’s easier to get an accurate quote if you provide that information up front. Thankfully, Rich clarified pricing once noticed, showed us some small areas where we could use extra cleaning, and recommended places where we probably didn’t need to spend more money on (like closet edges that will be covered by furniture). We also got a discount since the house didn’t have furniture in it yet, so the total cost was still lower than other competing quotes. He also provided some helpful tips for us as new homeowners. It was a smooth and pleasant experience, and I’m so glad we got it done before moving in. The house was fine before, but now that the carpets look (and smell) so much better, it really feels like a new house."
