"DMV were the contractors for a series of renovation projects in my home -- renovate a powder room, complete renovation of the kitchen, renovate a closet space, install a skylight, repaint several rooms and the staircase, and refinish the floors upstairs. Javier and the crew were outstanding: very communicative throughout the project, attentive to my concerns and the integrity of the house, and very accommodating with my neighbors. Javier offered many helpful suggestions for tiling, fixtures, and colors. I'm thrilled with the results -- the quality and precision of the work is excellent, and the skylight has transformed my home and my life. Perhaps the most amazing aspect of the project is that I could not be on site as I was posted overseas during the work. "VKB just remodeled our hallway bath, and they did a great job! Despite being a little hard to get in touch with over the holidays we were able to arrange a time for a quote. Calvin, our designer, was on time and quick. He brought up a couple of options while we were reviewing the project that we hadn't considered yet, gave us a very reasonable estimate, made an appointment for us to meet him at the showroom in Columbia, and was gone in less than 45 minutes. No pressure at all, and we enjoyed his advice and personality. When we met Calvin at the showroom and he presented us with a 3D model of our new bathroom and picked out materials, carrying samples around the showroom to see how it would all look together. It was a very easy process, and he did a good job balancing his recommendations with our style choices. We signed the contract and had an estimated start date in less than 2 hours. Watching him poke in our selections into a PDF document was the only tedious part of the process, but the showroom was comfy and just fine. About 2 weeks later Calvin and our project manager Jason arrived for a walkthrough, and Jason verified that the contract matched our understanding of what they'd be doing. We also went over the things that we were on the hook to provide: paint and hardware for the hallway door. Jason also verified the location of our water cut-off valve, electric panel, and where they'd be able to wash paint brushes, etc. About a week and a half later Jason called with the start date. When that day arrived we met Juan and Wilson, who did the actual work on the bathroom. They put plastic and dropcloths down to protect our floors and cleaned up after themselves every day. Materials were delivered when needed and stored in our garage. Some cuts (wood, tile, etc.) were made there and out by our front porch, and they also did a great job working around the rain the plagued us a few days. We were surprised how fast they went and how well everything turned out. About 5 and a half working days until our bathroom was complete. Jason collected the remaining payments along the way, the first one having been made when we signed the contract at the showroom. As with every project, there were a couple of things that didn't go according to plan. We wanted to tile all the way up the wall around the bathtub but we found that the ceiling wasn't level and it would have turned out less than pretty, so went a little shorter than planned but ended up looking like it was meant to be that way from the beginning. There was a leak in the sink drain, so we called Jason and Juan came back the next day and took care of it. I had to clean up a few places where the paint from the baseboard moulding hit the tile and my OCD couldn't just let it go. BUT the bathroom turned out looking fantastic! VKB left the remaining tile, which we donated to a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. We were really surprised by how well everything worked together, from the colors to the styles, to how nice everything looks now. Our kids say it's like walking into a hotel bathroom. It feels like we really got some high end components installed for a very reasonable price. In summary, we're going to use them again for our master bathroom."

"I originally called Third Generation to give me a quote on a partial master bath remodel. Robert and Christina came to the house together and gave me some good advice on what needed to be done and a ballpark figure for the work. They also explained that they flipped houses and had trusted people who could do whatever else I wanted to have done in the house and could do it fast. Shortly thereafter, my circumstances changed and I decided to do a full master bath gut and remodel along with a long list of things I had wanted or needed to do for years. Robert gave what I considered a fair quote for my VERY long list of jobs and had people on site within days of signing the contract. Everyone working the job was pleasant, hard-working, and highly skilled. I felt very comfortable with all of them and had no reservations about having them in my house when I wasn't there. The whole job took about 8 weeks but 2 to 3 weeks of that was because a special-order vanity arrived damaged and had to be re-ordered, delaying the completion of the new master bath. I am delighted with the job(s) done by Third Generation. My master bath is gorgeous, my laundry room is now attractive instead of an eyesore, and a long list of "I hate that"s has been turned into "I love that"s. For the amount of work I had done and the range of different types of work involved, the speed of completion, even with the delay caused by the defective vanity, was really impressive. I will definitely call Third Generation again not only for plumbing work, but for future remodeling that I may decide to do. This was a great experience and I have no hesitation in recommending Third Generation."

"My backsplash is beautiful. Tony Heard, one of the owners of the company was professional and attentive to my specific requirements. The gentlemen who installed the backsplash, came in did their job, were very diligent and professional. I thought it would take a couple of days to complete, but it was done in one day. They cleaned up the debris and dust and made sure that I was happy. I am very satisfied with my completed project. I have even discussed future home projects that I could hire LFC for with Tony. The cost for this project was very reasonable and worth it."

Mike (the owner) came for a preliminary visit to look at what we needed done and give an estimate.  He was easy to reach, courteous and professional.  Joe came a few days later to do the work.  He too was punctual (arrived even a few minutes early) and polite and professional, worked quickly and cleaned up any mess.  I am completely satisfied with all aspects of the work in terms of quality and the professionalism of Mike and Joe.  I would definitely cal City Renovations and Remodeling again and recommend them to my friends.
