"We've been wanting to do a patio and driveway for the past 5 years. We shopped around for quotes, designs, etc...and finally decided on doing a patio and found Hoffman Landscaping late in our search.
Brian was friendly, helpful, responsive and professional from the beginning. He was able to cover all of our design ideas and gave us a great price. The patio turned out GREAT and my wife and I are VERY happy with the outcome. Brian obviously takes pride in his work and took his time to do things right. Working with Hoffman Landscaping was stress-free and had the feel like they were friends of the family, doing us a favor.
We would highly recommend and plan on using them for other projects in the future.

"Ed and his team were friendly, professional and did a great  job. . My gardens were overgrown and some trees needed removal. The step on my front stoop had sunk and made going up the steps difficult. They removed all of the bushes and plants, as I requested. They secured the step at the appropriate height and refaced the front stoop. They also  removed the concrete walkway and replaced it with a brick walkway. The only hiccup in the process was the weather which prevented them from completing the work sooner, but we can't change the weather.
We re very happy with the jobs they performed and are planning to use them again for some other work we have planned this year. They are  currently designing a front garden for the one we requested they remove. Throughout the process they were helpful and offered advice and suggestions for improvement . 
We have received nothing but compliments from our family, friends and neighbors. (In fact, one neighbor now has "walkway envy")  We have referred EB Landscaping to friends who asked for their card.

"I met with Dave (project manager) and we discussed extent of work needed to restore my stone patio after many years of neglect. A key feature of the repair plan was to install a border around the stone patio. Dave also recommended that we pull up most of the lower patio and establish a good base for the stones, and repoint the upper patio where mortar joints were degraded. I decided to go with Daves recommendations and Lopez ( crew supervisor) and his crew did a great job restoring the patio. I am looking forward to pressure washing the stone to bring out the color after the mortar has fully cured. I could not be more pleased with the results!"

"ATD did a wonderful job of completely redoing our front yard. The yard is shaded by trees, grass would not grow, and invasive plants had taken over. ATD first met with us to understand what we wanted, and provided a concise but complete proposal. They developed a landscape design which they discussed with us as it evolved. For the installation they first removed the existing plants, grass and weeds and applied an organic weed killer to kill the invasive plants. They installed the new landscaping a few weeks later, and completed it in one day. They applied soil and hardwood mulch, planted a variety of native plants, and installed stone pavers to provide a walkway from our driveway to the house. In addition they installed a dry creek and river rocks to control water runoff. Maintenance, included for next year, includes Spring and Fall cleanups and weeding every 4-6 weeks during the growth season. We are thrilled with the yard, and neighbors have already given complements. The price was good - we did get a quote from another landscaper, and it was significantly higher. We plan to have ATD work on our back yard next Spring."

"Removed old concrete patio: This was an old 1963-era concrete slab. Massive. Mike & his team brought in jackhammers and made quick work of it. Waterproofing: Removing the old slab revealed a damaged (and possibly leaking) portion of the house wall, which Mike's team repaired well. Replaced with new patio: Mike's team poured a new cement layer, then installed a new flagstone patio surface on top of that. Also a new step (concrete with flagstone exterior) at the door threshold. They also re-installed an iron railing which had been part of the original patio configuration. The job went well in all respects. We're happy with the team's work and with the new patio. I've worked with Mike and Diversified Contractors several times now. Each time, Mike has had good ideas & suggestions. Each time, his team has demonstrated excellent skills. Again, I'm looking forward to our next project."

"Wonderful experience!! This is the second time we have used Maryland Decking and Kyle Funk as our salesperson; they came in on budget for our project and in the time frame that we needed. Kyle is great, but we had a couple questions regarding the placement during installation, so he showed up day of installation with shovel in hand. They want things to be as right as we did, which is refreshing. GREAT customer service! The project consisted of extended a patio that we had done by them a few years ago, you would never know that it wasn’t original, blends perfectly and the crew couldn’t have been better, they worked hard and when we asked a question they stopped to listen and then gave us the answer without being annoyed. Left the site neat and clean too. Hard to find good workers, with good customer service while staying in budget and on time with a great salesperson on top of it! "When I called HL Design, I spoke with Catherine. We set an appointment for the next day. Dave, the owner, came out and I showed him exactly what I wanted. He recommended Nicolock Pavers for the patio I wanted. Before he left, I had a detailed proposal that was not only fair, but included everything that would be done. I hired him on the spot. NO BS! Straightforward and honest. Dave and his awesome crew came out 8 days later and completed our patio in one day. Let me tell you, Dave's crew took an ugly space under our deck in the back of our townhouse, that wouldn't grow grass, and transformed it into a thing of beauty. Over the past year and a half, we have had quite a few major projects done in our house. This one, by far, was the most pleasurable one. I cannot say enough about HL Design, Dave Howe and his amazing crew. If I could give ten stars, I would."
