"Hew was great. He called 30 mins before arriving allowing me the chance to get home in time to meet him. He checked the carpet in the house for heavy soiled areas. I live up stairs so he had to carry equipment. He did and provided a great service. I rented one of his industrial fans to help dry the floor quicker. Do to poor planning we had house guest coming late that night or early the next morning. I highly recommend Hew. Quiet person only talks if you engage him. Works hard."

"We were extremely satisfied with the result.  Our floors look completely new.  They did a lot of repairs, replaced broken pieces, filled gaps, sanded old wood thoroughly, added new flooring in the closet, applied 2 coats of stain, 2 coats of Polyurethane.  They worked with my schedule. Father and son work together.  They are reliable and work extremely hard.  I highly recommend them.

"Great experience! Mike is super professional and did an amazing job cleaning the carpets. I purchased a Big Deal and he was very responsive in communicating with me to determine the condition of the carpets and setting an appointment. Price was fair and he was really pleasant to deal with. Would definitely recommend and will be calling him again for the next round of maintenance."

"Juan and Flavio provided excellent service and were extremely responsive. The install team led by Flavio were punctual, professional, and skilled. The new floors look great! They also buffed and resealed an existing hardwood floor. I am extremely pleased with the results. Their prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend them!"

"

My service was not as good the second time around.  I am very disappointed.  My kitchen counters were not wiped down.

My floors in the kitchen and bathrooms were not cleaned well.  I still saw hair and dust on the floor when the ladies left.  I had no choice but to mop them myself.

I also saw dust on bedroom furniture.

Also you should provide shoe covers or another alternative for homes that don't allow shoes indoors.

Not good.  I really wanted Elite to clean our home on  a regular basis.

"The crew was on time, respectful, and knowledgeable. Owner, Bill, showed us where the water was behind and under our kitchen cabinet. They were able to dry it out while we were out of town, replaced our laminate floors, and gave us suggestions on how to prevent future water damage. Don’t waste your time looking around, go with Flood Crew."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

To maintain vinyl and linoleum floors, regular sweeping and damp mopping are recommended. It is also important to avoid using harsh chemicals, as this helps maintain the floor's appearance and integrity while preventing damage.

Baking soda is an excellent choice for a natural dog urine neutralizer. You can sprinkle it on a stain, leave it overnight, and then vacuum it in the morning to help rid your hardwoods of the dog urine smell. Hydrogen peroxide is another odor neutralizer, but be careful not to mix it with other household cleaners.

You can buff out small scratches or indentations from your hardwood floor, but refinishing is your best bet if you have larger areas that need work. Floors in relatively good shape but have lost their luster can be restored with thorough buffing. If your finish has worn off in areas or if you have sun or water damage, you should go with refinishing instead.

The cost for professional floor cleaning is $250 on average. This cost can range from $100 to $1,500, depending on the type of flooring and its square footage.

For example, natural stone flooring requires specialized techniques and care, so you'll spend closer to the higher end of the cost range. The cost of cleaning tile and grout is more cost-effective, where you'll pay an average of $0.50 to $3.50 per square foot.
