Best tree service pros near Bowie, MD

"Axcobar should be your first choice for tree cutting and removal. Their service was outstanding in every way. Melvin responded in person to my emergency call after the recent tornado (microburst) in Olney took out six of the large, old trees in my yard. One of the trees was hanging over the deck and threatened to create more damage to my house if not skillfully removed. Axcobar showed up with a fabulous crew and a couple of trucks with shredders attached. These folks worked tirelessly over two days to cut, shred, and remove the trees that fell and the ones that were damaged and still standing. In addition, they removed all of the broken branches, twigs, and assorted debris in the area. We can not say enough good things about this service. Oh btw, their pricing was extremely competitive and fair. We will use them again and highly recommend them to others."

"Outstanding. Great service and very reasonable pricing. Gordon and his team removed 4 large trees, two bushes and performed general trimming of some other large trees on the property. They were efficient and safe -- clearing all debris at the end. Would hire again and highly recommend."

"Prestige Tree was a pleasure work with showed up on time and performed tree removal in a timely fashion. Clean up was excellent. I would use them again and refer them to others. Jim B."

"We needed several trees trimmed and one tree removed. Crystal and her team responded promptly, were very professional and did a great job. Her pricing is fair and I will definitely hire them again in the future."

"Hometown Tree experts were excellent from the start to end. Scheduling the free estimate to the actual removal was very smooth. Our guy who completed the estimate (Mark maybe?), Brandi at the office and the staff who removed the tree were exceptionally efficient and responsive. The quality of work and customer service were top notch."

"We used Barton twice this year and both we unexpected and timely. Both times the service was outstanding. The stump removal was extremely difficult because the tree had grown through a chain linked fence. The job was fantastic. .. and just great guys."

"We got three estimates and Richard's was the least expensive by about $1,600.  Disparity gave pause. But Richard's was the only service we contacted that had reviews on Angie's List and they were positive.
They assessed the situation, gave an estimate, Dan provided their insurance certificate along with his phone number, scheduled the service, and showed up early on the date.
Then they took down the tree, chipped the debris, and ground the stump.  Though the ground was soft, there was no damage to the lawn - they used mats.  Left some sawdust that quickly dissipated.
Three polite, professional people on the crew. Used their not-really-loud chipper sparingly - didn't keep it going all day.  Appreciated that.
Work was very carefully done. They cracked the cap on the neighbor's fence and replaced it immediately with no hassle.
Pleased with the service - would use again.

"I contacted Ballard to have some trees removed. They responded quickly and showed up on time for the estimate. Their price was more than fair for the amount of work -- they removed two large poplar trees and two large holly trees, and ground out the stumps. The work was scheduled quickly. The workers showed up promptly and the work was done quickly and professionally. They cleaned up everything and I'm very happy with the final result. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant, helpful, and professional. I would definitely use them again, and recommend them strongly."

"I used Milton's to remove a tree from my backyard and grind the stump. The crew arrived on time, was careful doing their work, and cleaned up afterward. I thought the price was very far and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Milton's."
