The workers informed us they were not using any water or dust suppression methods as required by OSHA. We told them we were concerned about our exposure to silica, a cause of potentially fatal silicosis, and they said they “did not care.” We have been breathing it in for days and they have not been using water, air monitoring or any other steps to minimize hazards.
