I want to recommend Capon Cleaning for window washing. We've been using them for years. They just came again last week. They are friendly, they are easy to schedule. The two workers arrived on time, they worked hard, they did a great job. They showed me two storm windows that need repair. At least one of the workers, the supervisor, had been to my home previously. I find the price very reasonable.

Very professional. One of the few companies that would actually go up four stories to the gutters to clean them. Always quick and responsive.

We''ve had great experiences with Capon for several years in a row now. Easy to book an appointment, come right on time, and do a great job neatly and quickly. We haven't done a lot of price-point comparison shopping, but we're happy to stick with Capon and just booked our winter '15 appointment.

It was easy right from the start on the phone to make an appointment and they were good about finding a slot for service during this busy time of year I'm sure. The 2-hour window/time-slot for showing up and cleaning the gutters was reasonable too, given that they fit me in. They showed up within a half hour of the time period on the day of, and went right to work. Very courteous, very careful to avoid my plants and yard, and they left no trace of all the stuff that cluttered up our gutters. (A while ago when we once had a handy man clean them, the junk and gunk cleaned out was left strewn all over our yard.) So overall, these guys were quick, careful, clean, and professional about it. And reasonably priced to me, although that's a little hard to judge since I didn't shop around.

It was very easy to make an appointment for the crew to come at a convenient time. The crew arrived promptly at 8 AM on the appointment day. The crew chief discussed the job with me beforehand, and was very professional. I actually added two things -- washing the screens and washing the siding -- at the recommendation of the crew chief, because it was a good idea. They did a great job, and I was impressed by the little extras, such as power washing the planter alongside the front steps and the offer (accepted) to replace a broken floodlight on the second-floor rear of the house where I could not reach it (I provided the bulb). They washed the doors, too, not just the windows in the doors, which I didn't expect. They did not damage any of my landscaping and left the work site spotless. I have a small split level home, with two straight runs of gutters in front and back ($110), a small patio with walkways in the back and walkways/steps to the front door (power washing $200), siding on the upstairs, back of the house only ($120) and 16 windows (some of them large, like a picture window and a bay window) and 3 exterior doors ($202, including screens). Total was $632 + $3 fuel fee (not sure what what is, but it is only $3). They cost a bit more than other providers of similar service but the quality justified the price, in my opinion. This is the second time I've used their service and I will definitely use them again.

Capon Cleaning Contractors Inc did work for us one time when I wasn't here. They did a pretty good job when I was here, but the time that I wasn't here, I felt like they didn't do a complete job because we had a couple of problem areas. They were perfectly fine.

Thorough, efficient, tidy, polite

It did not go well. As I said above, they were in a hurry. When they discovered I had storms they were not happy. They started upstairs (3 small windows) and broke one of the storms. After that they said they would not remove any more storms. They were in and out of here within 20 minutes, taking my broken storm. They said they would be back in a week with the replaced window on my storm.
After 8 days I called to see where my window was. I was told it was not ready. I called again two weeks and two days later and was told that the window was in and that we negotiated for them to return the storm on November 12, 2013, at 8:00 AM. On November 12, the man was not here at 8, but called to tell me he would be a little late. I give him points for this.
However, I am still siting here with half done windows, and not a happy customer. At least I got my storm window back.
I would never let Capon clean my windows again.

It was a great experience from start to finish. They were on time, highly organized, and completed the work quickly considering that the house has many windows. I also felt safe having them in the house and appreciated that none of the workers wandered around and stayed on task.

The company replied promptly to our inquiry and did a great job of cleaning our siding, windows and gutters.
The workers were very courteous and careful during the work they provided.
We appreciate their service and plan to use them again when the need arises.

It went well Do be ready for them, remove or tuck away curtains/drapes, and if necessary blinds. Do remove safety devices, ie burglar proofing locks on windows. Furniture blocking access. Do establish foreman on job and set out any xpecial concerns, conditions. Do keep an eye on them, and secure valuables. Not that I had any reason to distrust them, just tucck them away somewhere, so you don't get paranoid. Don'ts. Don't get in their way/fuss

I've used Capon many times for window and gutter cleaning. Scheduling is easy, a human answers the phone or I get a prompt return call. Cleaners arrive as promised, are efficient, professional and do excellent work. I find the prices reasonable.

They are great. They are reliable, efficient and they do a good job. They charge a fair price.
