"Ace Lawn and Landscaping provided a very professional, friendly and incredibly efficient experience.  Pricing was very reasonable.  Crew arrived on time, did excellent work and was very respectful of property.  Patio and walkway is beautiful and greatly improves curb appeal of home.  I also routinely use Ace for other lawn and landscaping needs and have always been very impressed with the workmanship and integrity of  this company.

"They had a great personality and they always cleaned up.  They had great communication skills and a professional contract that explained everything. They were very knowledgable and explained everything to me and why they had to be done.  He had the most updated manuals .  He showed me his license and insurance.  They were very prompt and on time.  When he set a start time he was always on time and and always worked hard throughout the day. Everything that he did was up to code for Maryland and Baltimore.  Everything passed inspection."

Exterior Lighting questions, answered by experts

Outdoor lighting repairs typically take between 1-3 hours. The exact duration can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of the problem, the extent of the damage, and the ease of access to the lighting fixtures and wiring.

Professional repairs involve diagnosing issues, replacing components, rewiring, or repositioning fixtures to restore optimal performance.

Professionals enhance safety by addressing structural issues, securing loose components, and using non-toxic materials. They ensure compliance with building codes and conduct thorough inspections to identify potential hazards. Their expertise minimizes risks, making the home safer during and after repairs.

The cost to repair outdoor lighting typically ranges from $100 to $400. The final price depends on the severity of the damage, the specific issue, the type of lighting system, and the parts needed. Some repairs are priced per fixture, averaging $100 to $300, and there may be additional fees if the lighting is difficult to access.

While wet-rated and damp-rated lighting is designed to handle contact with moisture, there’s a difference between the two. Wet-rated lighting is safety-rated to be placed in areas with direct exposure to water, including your shower. Fixtures classed as wet-rated are made with waterproof seals to protect the filament and other electrical components from water and moisture.

Damp-rated fixtures can be used in places with some moisture contact, but not direct exposure. They don’t have the same waterproof seals used in wet-rated fixtures. Damp-rated lighting can be used on your bathroom ceiling or along a wall outside of your shower.
