"We needed to have a walk-in-shower installed to replace our 20 inch high whirlpool bathtub. Through Angie’s List we found the perfect contractor in Calloway Corporation LLC. The owner Keith stopped by within a day of posting, looked at our layout and what we wanted done and he was back a day later with the estimate which was very reasonable for the work we wanted accomplished. We had to revise the original estimate a few times only because my wife wanted extras added which was not a problem. The owner and his right-hand manager Katherine were more than agreeable and cordial in meeting our needs and goals. The work crew was very punctual showing up every day at 0700, military time, 7:00 am. Retired Navy, what can I say. The demolition phase included R J and Jeremy removing the old walk-in shower and attached closet, removal of the huge whirlpool tub and the large Glass Block Window. Removal of the window necessitated cutting a hole in the siding, removing the old insulation and boards. Luckily, we had two boxes of new siding in our attic for the initial house build which saved us money along with floor tiles that were used to patch and enlarge the floor. Once the backdrop for the new shower was installed with the necessary braces for tie in of the grab bar and teak chair that same day the two carpenters installed new insulation and siding. And honestly it looked as if it was the original work. The carpenters were outstanding. Very meticulous, paid attention to detail, and did not miss one nail on outside clean up. Masters of their Trade!!!! What really impressed us was the way they treated our home with respect putting drop cloths on all the floors leading to the bathroom work area. They also did a top to bottom clean up at the end of each day’s work. The tile setter Rob is a Master of his trade. Probably one of the best tile setters in Delaware. Talk about perfection!!!! His final work looks good enough to be a multi-million-dollar mansion. Our walk in shower looks fabulous. Keith and Katherine provided us with the best sub-contractors in the area. The Plumber, Electricians, and Painters did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterward and took all waste products with them. Not only did R J and Jeremy work on demolition they also built beautiful, sturdy and space saving shelves and put on perfectly closing folding doors, installed new tiles and installed the grab bar and teak seat in the shower and installed our new vanity with all the hardware. Everything came out Beautiful. My wife and I both love what they accomplished for us. I know this was verbose but I wanted to instill in anyone who needs a top-notch contractor and crew who complete a project with pride in workmanship, work ethic and trustworthiness to call on Calloway Corporation for any project. "Not all heroes wear capes! Economy Restoration LLC., saved my home! Long story short is I had a new roof, siding and gutters done in November 2018 by contractors that did unworkmanlike installations and kept trying to band aide the job. I had several contractors look over the installs and was told by all of them that in their professional opinions, everything would need to be redone from scratch. This was absolutely one of the most stressful and devastating things Iâ ve ever encountered in my life. It was back to the drawing board on hiring another contractor and hopefully not get burned again. I had several estimates and was fortunate enough to learn about Economy Restoration through my boyfriend who had been selling merchandise for the past couple of years to the COO, Rob Knotts. I did my research and saw that they are a fairly new company with great reviews. I spoke with Rob and explained the situation and he understood my positioning entirely and went above and beyond to assure me I was in good hands this time. Rob came to my home to assess the prior installs and came to all the same conclusions as the other contractors and more. He was very thorough and taught me more about the prior job that made me 100% ready to get these installations redone properly. I was still very nervous over the situation because nobody should have to go through this all over again in a year and coming 100% out of my pocket this time. My boyfriend and I picked out the new colors of shingles and siding and were ready to pull the trigger for the 2nd time and hopefully the last time for this project. The installations were setup for November 2019, exactly a year after the prior job. The roof was the first to be installed and the amount of issues from the prior contract blew me away once I got a better look over it all. The crew did an excellent job in repairing all these matters and they knocked it out in ONE DAY! That wasnâ t the case with the last company, so I was thrilled to see my brand-new roof with proper drip edge, overhang and flashing. Up next was the siding installation and there was quite a bit of wood and facia replaced during this process. Economy made sure to stick 100% to their contract and go above and beyond on my home. Economy made my home look brand new! Installed the roof, siding and repaired many matters from the prior contractors. I canâ t thank Rob enough for his attention to detail and knowing how tender a situation this has been for my household. The roofing and siding crew moved quickly, but made sure to do the jobs right, cleaned up behind themselves and not damage anything in the process. Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.
