"I used Griffin a few years ago to do roof repairs, fix a leak that had water pouring through my kitchen, and install new gutters.  They did a wonderful job, were easy to deal with, and were very professional.  Last week they came out free of charge to fix a problem with a downspout caused by a gutter cleaner.  I highly recommend Griffin.

"Gutter Werks seems like a very efficiently-run company. I had a quick estimate, and when I decided to have them do the work, a day was set up and the work was done very well. I would defintely use Gutter Werks again."

"I had gutter helmet installed 20 years ago and it has been a lifesaver - no gutter cleaning! My house backs up to woods, so lots of tall trees, leaves and pollen. With gutters at 2 and 3 stories, cleaning was necessary, but expensive before Gutter Helmet installation. Today, I had a section of helmet repaired due to damage from a fallen limb. The repair crew was great. They made the necessary repairs and cleaned and checked the gutters on the rest of the house. Gutter Helmet works great and in the event of problems the company is very responsive."

"I liked this outfit the first time I talked with Zach on the phone. They have a professional and highly respectable demeanor and their is no pressure. I got a real sense that Winfield Builders truly appreciated my business and that the company takes pride in their work and their customer service. We completely overhauled our gutter system including replacing all of the old fascia board with PVC. The quality of the materials are stellar, the workmanship was prompt and precise, and the clean up after the job exceeded expectation. This company is built on good values and is itself probably the best value work and craftsmanship for the money out there. They are the real deal. We plan to rehire them for gutter guards here in the near future once we save funds. Thank you Winfield Builders!"

"Excellent hard-working crew gave us a new roof and repaired water-damaged woodwork within 36 hours. They accidentally clipped a TV cable, but made things right by paying for the replacement. Very good response times via instant messaging. Will use them again to replace gutters next year."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Once you’ve installed your gutters, you'll need to maintain them. You should clean your gutters once or twice a year to keep them functioning correctly. But if climbing a ladder and scooping out handfuls of wet leaf gunk is just not your thing, you can hire a professional gutter cleaner near you to do the job.

The duration of a repair job can range from a few hours to several days. Simpler issues may take 1-4 hours, while more complex work or extensive damage could take 1-3 days. The final timeline depends on the complexity of the problem, the extent of the damage, and the location of the work.

Yes, many homeowners find that seamless gutters are worth the investment. Although they have a higher upfront cost than standard gutters—an average of $2,700 compared to $2,000—their benefits often outweigh the price difference. Seamless gutters last longer, require less maintenance, and are less prone to clogs and leaks due to having fewer seams. In contrast, standard gutters typically have seams every 10 feet, which can leak and require new sealant every one to five years. Additionally, seamless gutters are considered more aesthetically pleasing, come in a variety of colors to match your home, and can improve your home's curb appeal and potential value.

When it comes to which gutter material is better, the choice really boils down to what you're looking for in a gutter system. If saving money is the most important factor, then your best option is to go for aluminum gutters. If longevity and durability are more important to you, then copper gutters could be the best fit. If you want to customize the color of your gutters, aluminum takes the cake, but if you're looking for a more natural appearance, copper might be a better choice.

Costs range from $150 to $500, depending on the damage and length of gutter needing repair.
