The salesperson was very cordial. He answered all of my questions and provided me with a quote before he left. The meeting was less than an hour and there were no high pressure sales tactics. I checked other companies providing the same services and Porcelite's price was competitive and they were by far the most responsive. (One company didn't call me back until after the work was done!) When I gave the go ahead they had me on their schedule within a couple of weeks.

It was a two part installation. The  shower pan was refinished first and it took a couple of hours to do. The first technician arrived on-time and he finished the work in the time frame quoted on the phone. The second technician came in a couple of days later. He was also on-time and finished the work within the 4 hours quotes on the phone. Both technicians were very friendly and answered all of my maintenance questions.

I am extremely pleased with the end result. My shower looks new and is practically self cleaning! 

There were no surprises with the cost. I paid the price originally quoted.

While I had plumbers from Honest Abe's here, I asked how much it would cost to have them unclog/snake the drain. I was told that it would cost $247. I was shocked at this price and told them I would look elsewhere. I did. I purchased one of Angie's List's deals (for half the price - $125) for a small drain cleaning. Tim, the plumber, showed up on time with his female apprentice. He removed the sink trap, snaked the drain with an electric, automated snake, and replaced the trap. The sink drained great after that. The entire process took about 20 minutes.

"This review is solely about the installation portion of the Puronics Water Treatment System since it was just installed today. The install team arrived on time, ready to go to work. The location of my main water line was tricky to get to, but they found a great solution to tap into the line via a drop-ceiling access point. They located the Hydronex Water Conditioning Cylinder and Salt Backflush Container exactly where I wanted it. Their work was clean, tight, and very professional. The RO system was backordered, so they explained that they will return within the week to install that portion of the project. They prepped for the RO install by drilling and installing the faucet in my granite countertop. After the install, they explained the whole system to my wife and I and we were up and running with conditioned water. I can't say enough about my experience with Chuck on the initial phone call, Miles who provided the water testing and sold me the system, and Ryan who installed the system.
