"I called Third Generation after a negative experience getting an estimate for cleaning the gutters from another company. This other company had cleaned the gutters on our house last year. When I called in early December to schedule a cleaning they quoted me a price that included a $50 "winter" mark-up because it was so late in the season. I thought this was outrageous in this case; it's been an unusually warm November and December thus far, with temperatures this afternoon close to 60 degrees. We haven't seen a flake of snow...

I called Third Generation Windows and Gutters after reading the very positive reviews on Angieslist. I especially liked that this is a family business with a long reputation for good work. Karl answered the phone when I called on Thursday and said he could come by the next afternoon. He showed up with his helper on time, appeared to be an honest, sincere person and I felt very comfortable passing the work on to him. They started work right away and finished in less than an hour. We have a very small ranch house so he charged less than his normal minimum rate.

I have no way of knowing, but I trust that they did a good job. They cleaned up after they worked, and true to his word, they left the grounds cleaner than when they arrived. Ii would not hesitate to hire this company again, and would recommend them to anyone that asked about them.

That resolved the overflow problems I was having on the steeper sections of roof. The Leaf Relief gutter guards have been doing an excellent job. Home Depot sells the same brand, but only in very short (like 3-4 ft.) lengths for DIYers. That would be a huge pain to install, moving a ladder every few feet! The contractors can get them in much longer lengths and the install goes much faster. A high quality job done quickly! They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. I would definitely recommend New England Gutter Kings to anyone considering gutter replacement, cleaning or gutter guard installation."
