"Based on my experience: 1. Do not give them a deposit; 2. Do not expect them to arrive on the day promised; 3. If any work is conditional (my case, *;clean gutters if they need cleaning*), have it spelled out in writing in great detail. Domingo arrived promptly for giving a quote on fixing an end cap of a gutter; we agreed that in addition, if gutters need cleaning, he will clean them for a separate fee. He rescheduled his actual work visit twice; when he and his team finally arrived, they fixed the gutter in 10 minutes (quality unknown: they did not test it, and it has not rained yet), then they told me that the gutters did not need cleaning and demanded full payment. The fact that cleaning was on a need basis seems to have escaped Domingo. I feel duped."
