This was important to me because the boiler sits below our family room, and the noise level of the boiler was as issue. His proposals listed several boiler options, based on heating efficiency, which were competitively priced. The installation was run by Steve, who was able to fit in the installation the next week. Steve, and his crews, were punctual and courteous, and the installation went smoothly. It's only been a week, but I am very pleased with my Bosch boiler, the quality of the work, the price paid, and the timeliness of the installation."

"Before installing a mini-split, the sales person told me that I'd need to cut down an interior shelf to a specific height. I paid a handyman $400 to do exactly what the sales person instructed. Later on, N.E.T.R. came and did the installation; however, AFTER the installation, a technician told me that they hadn't accounted for the vent opening and closing and that the shelf would need to be further cut down. As you can imagine, this type of service is rather ridiculous. If they knew that the shelf would need further cutting, they should have NOT installed the unit. I have called N.E.T.R. six (6) times in three weeks, and no one has called me back about this issue. After paying for the unit and for a handyman, it's ridiculous that I have AC that is compromised because no one with the company thought to properly measure the space so that the work by the handyman could be done once. At this point, I'd like for N.E.T.R. to take care of this for me."

"DO NOT USE 128 PLUMBING We have had a lot of work done on our house since moving in a few years ago and have worked with countless plumbers, contractors, electricians, etc. Everyone does the job a little different but they do what you pay them to do, and generally do it well. 128 Plumbing is the absolute exception. We have had them out 3 times now, and need a 4th but are going to foot the bill with a new plumber just to keep them from messing up anything else. We hired them to replace our water heater, simple enough. It was pricey and they did up sell on some expensive add-ons but nothing beyond what most in the area charge. Day of install, no one shows up in the assigned window. We call after another 2 hours go by and they said they forgot we were on the schedule...? After we insist they need to come as we have no hot water and I took off work, 2 disgruntled guys show up at the end of the day. The two guys that came were completely unaware of the PEX system in our basement. They only know pro-press. Fine, use what you know, but to not even "know of" the other connection types and systems out there? How exactly did they complete apprenticing without learning that? Then they were careless and decided to balance our old heavy water heater on our new vinyl picket fence instead of walking 10 extra feet to use the gate, breaking our fence. They also didn't finish installing the $800 leak shut off valve, and just left it turned off and unplugged - luckily I noticed, plugged it in, and got it setup online. They would rather mess with each other and get out of there, than actually do their job. A few weeks later, the valve triggers, our new tank was leaking. They never checked the water pressure and our main was too high (and had been, this wasn't just a spike). They wanted $90 to even come see what was leaking before we knew about the pressure. Then another $1400 to install an expansion tank and Pressure reducer valve (I totally get paying for this, its a new service/product, but the price is much higher than local quotes so I mention it). I put that on hold to talk to some local plumbers to see what they would charge, and come to learn, they installed the water heater wrong in the first place. The auto-shut off valve is in between our vacuum relief valve and our heater, completely isolating the vacuum relief in the exact situations you need it...a draining or siphoned heater. They want another $90 to come back and "look at it" to decide if they will fix the install they messed up just a few weeks ago. At this point I would rather pay full price to a new plumber to come in and fix their egregious mistakes and make sure my home is properly plumbed."

When I switched to another maintenance company that missed a flaw in my furnace which caused it to fail on season startup, AccuTemp came out to diagnose the problem the same day with no contract, got the large expensive replacement part for free under warranty, and had it fully installed and working again within 2 calendar days. All that for just the cost of a day's labor!"

"Contractor Recommendation: Norfolk County Heating & Cooling Our 1895 refurbished Victorian's 3rd-floor mini split unit needed repair. Leaking lines were replaced. A chemical reaction between the copper line and wrapped insulation caused pinhole leaks in the line set. Manufacturers recalled that the warranty had expired and the unit was cooling poorly. Four contractors were contacted for estimates. Owner Patrick and project supervisor Renato excelled. They quickly listened and explained the problem, process challenges, and possible solutions. The price given was accurate and a fraction of the others I received. That worried me until it became clear the other contractors had quoted outrageous pricesâ either their company was understaffed and didn't want the small project or thought the customer was ignorant. The other contractors pressured us to upgrade from line replacement to system overhaul. One refused to provide an itemized breakdown of the FIVE times Norfolk H&C estimate but continued contacting me to finalize the sale without changing the price or explanation. On replacement/installation day, Renato and his assistant were punctual and polite, knocked and asked permission before entering the property, and were great to our small dog. They avoided disturbing a newly planted lawn and cleaned the house and area. Renato showed me the finished project, how he installed it, what he replaced, and its system testing.
