"Overall it went really well.  Joe was very quick to respond to my plea for a quick install of a closet and interior work to accommodate my mother who had to move in with us in a hurry.  We got lucky that he was able to start quickly and was done almost on time.  We had the header as an add on project so this is what caused the extension of time.  In the end, we were very pleased with the results.  We even had concerns about the roof after the install and a heavy rain came.  He sent one of his crew out on New Year's Day to make sure the quality of workmanship was good.

"The project was finished just about a year ago, and we are very pleased with the results.  We needed someone who was going to be able to take us by the hand through the entire project from start to finish.  Brad is definitely that guy as he did all the work himself from design, demo, installation and finishings.  As our single point of contact through the whole process there were very few problems with this project, especially since we were in daily contact with Brad.  Brad is a very detail-oriented guy and does extremely good work.  His skills are exceptional and the resulting work is seamless and beautiful. Additionally, he is extremely patient and tolerant.  He was able to walk us through the myriad of decisions that needed to made, and was always available to answer questions that would invariably come up after the meeting had finished.  As an example, we were uncertain how big the new countertop would look as we were dramatically changing the layout.  Even though we had several drawings of the new kitchen, it wasn't quite sinking in with us.  On his next visit, Brad came prepared with a full-size cardboard cutout of the proposed countertop so that we could visualize it.  He also didn't get flustered with the many changes we made throughout the project.  And lastly, after a countertop material mistake, Brad was an excellent advocate for us and getting the supplier to correct the problem."

"The project went very smoothly from beginning to end—Meeting the team who performed the work, to coming up with a design for the kitchen with a specialist, picking out cabinets, island, hardware, countertops and backsplash. I watched the team work uniformly day in and day out, because not only did I have new cabinets installed, but electrical and plumbing done as well(recessed lighting, pendant lights, all new appliances, and a farmhouse sink). Also, they are accommodating if changes need to be done. They believe the customer is number one! I would highly recommend them for any type of remodel— I’m going to use them for a future project. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

What was especially helpful was their ability to help design the a color scheme to give us a new look that I would be happy with but that would also be appealing to someone when we finally decide to sell the home in the next few years.
