Susan is amazingly organized and carefully records her work methodically using the Milanote app for collaborative work with her clients. Being a professional with an active work schedule including travels, I was particular about the days and times when I was available for design consultation meetings and shopping trips. Susan was understanding and accommodated my needs. Susan is a very resilient, self-aware and astute professional with a great sense of humor. She builds trust and listens actively to understand the needs of her clients. She regularly watched out for blind spots in my field of vision and advised me proactively to carefully re-consider certain choices I was leaning towards initially (e.g., wall colors) to ensure that I did not prematurely select something sub-optimal for my space that could have clashed with other design choices I had already made. Not being knowledgeable in the principles of interior design, I appreciated this proactive advisory approach she took to safeguard the quality of my design selections. We were open and honest about our expectations and preferences with each other and she was perfectly fine with my brutal honesty and allowed me to express my likes and dislikes throughout our work together.
