"We recently had a complete roof replacement. Before proceeding, we did comprehensive research of area companies and Vista came out on top, with good reason! All appointments were not only on time but were extremely punctual. We met first with Product Specialist Holly, who was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. While at our home assessing the proposed job, Project manager Rick explained the entire process in layman's terms. The day of the job, Project Supervisor Marc arrived early and went over the entire job with the crew. All company representatives left us with a business card with their cell #'s to call if we required anything. The installation crew was amazing. They arrived early and began immediately. They were no nonsense, very focused and, worked like a well oiled machine. All Vista team members were polite and respectful of my special request to be cognizant around some of my more cherished trees & shrubs. "Mr Gomes and his team did a great job. He gave us a detailed quote which listed everything that was included and the items we needed to cover ourselves. The work he did included: - Demo entire bathroom, including a massive Jacuzzi tub - Move plumbing to new configuration - New electrical wiring and outlets - Sheetrock and cement board - Tile walls and floor. Paint walls and trim. - Install electric heated floor - Build two partial walls - Install vanity, tub, toilet - Install ceiling fan, lights, mirrors, towel warmer, wall heater, recirculating water pump - Build a full hight closet There were a few delays waiting for inspectors. Mr Gomes and his subcontractors were always on time. He was juggling other jobs, but was always able to get his guys to our project when they needed to be there. They did work a Saturday to stay on track. Every worker that Mr Gomes brought into our house was competent, friendly and hard-working. The subcontractors he used were long-time business partners, they obviously had a very good relationship. Each crew member was courteous and very conscious that the project was disruptive to us. They went above and beyond what was in our contract. They handled lots of little details that we didn't even think of. The work was performed with great care and our bathroom is beautiful. Mr Gomes is the BEST contractor we have ever worked with and will get all future jobs from us."

"A Few Good Tradesmen was a good vendor for me. They were good at communicating prior to the job including working on the estimate and getting the work dates squared away. They arrived on the scheduled date and completed the job in the timeframe they expected.
We determined in advance which fence materials to use, and they showed up with the exactly correct materials and did a nice job of installation. The fence feels sturdy and the joints between the parts are nice and tight.
They had the two awnings down in short order without incident. Once they were down, the exposed siding needed touch-up, cleaning or something. Their original idea was to swap some of the damaged siding with good siding from the back of the garage, but they did not realize that the siding was aluminum (they thought it was vinyl) so they decided not to try to remove/replace siding and instead did a fair job of cleaning up the damaged areas.
The job site was clean after they left on both days of the two-day job.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

5/7/2015.  The project began on 5/12 completed by 5/15/2015.
Tasks included carpet to hardwood conversion, bathroom upgrade
sink and shower restoration as well as paint job.
