Dennis did an absolutely fantastic job installing the water pressure pump first and then he started on the gas on demand hot water heater. He finished that the next day. Dennis is a perfectionist and measure everything 2 or three times which I think is great. His work is fantastic and he stands behind it. "Company did a good job last summer with 3 bay windows, so I called them back when the rest of the windows in the house needed to be replaced. On the initial visit, I told the rep that I wanted the same windows as last year. He quickly found the job order and picked up the details of the window make/model/etc without any need for me to reinvent the order. The company had the opportunity to try to upsell me, as I asked them about replacement of the skylight in the bathroom. Refreshingly, they declined to do so and told me that it would be much better to wait until we needed to get the roof re-done, and to do the window at that time. As before, the first guy clearly explained the process: guy 1 to take the order and measure the windows, later follow-up visit from guy 2 to remeasure all the windows carefully before ordering their construction, and then a couple of months later, a follow-up call from their HQ to schedule the install. He gave me an approximate window for this scheduling call. It was a pretty broad time-frame because there had been an unusually large number of people needing custom windows. As before, everything went off exactly as the rep indicated. The install team showed up within a half-hour of the estimated time, and installed 11 windows without taking a break. They removed every scrap of rubbish, vacuumed thoroughly, and left the place as clean as it was when they arrived."

"Mr Gomes and his team did a great job. He gave us a detailed quote which listed everything that was included and the items we needed to cover ourselves. The work he did included: - Demo entire bathroom, including a massive Jacuzzi tub - Move plumbing to new configuration - New electrical wiring and outlets - Sheetrock and cement board - Tile walls and floor. Paint walls and trim. - Install electric heated floor - Build two partial walls - Install vanity, tub, toilet - Install ceiling fan, lights, mirrors, towel warmer, wall heater, recirculating water pump - Build a full hight closet There were a few delays waiting for inspectors. Mr Gomes and his subcontractors were always on time. He was juggling other jobs, but was always able to get his guys to our project when they needed to be there. They did work a Saturday to stay on track. Every worker that Mr Gomes brought into our house was competent, friendly and hard-working. The subcontractors he used were long-time business partners, they obviously had a very good relationship. Each crew member was courteous and very conscious that the project was disruptive to us. They went above and beyond what was in our contract. They handled lots of little details that we didn't even think of. The work was performed with great care and our bathroom is beautiful. Mr Gomes is the BEST contractor we have ever worked with and will get all future jobs from us."

"The provider and his assistant arrived a few moments before our scheduled meeting time.  They were professional.  They installed the cabinet.  They offered additional services.  Their fee was acceptable.

We are a residential and commercial cleaning company as well as a moving company located in Boston, Massachusetts.

"I contacted A Few Good Tradesmen and spoke to Jennifer and told her what I wanted and she gave me an hourly price and when they could do the job.  Since I had to have a light replaced I was glad to find out Brian was a master electrician.  I called a few days later and made a date to have the work done.  She told me someone would be there between 8:00 and 10:00.  She then called back another day to tell me the job would take two men instead of one so the price per hour would change.  I appreciated her calling to inform me of the change in the hourly fee.  Sam arrived by 10:00 and Henry arrived shortly after that.  They removed the awning and repaired the holes left by the bolts the best they could.  (The awning had been on for over 50 years and there were rust marks that could not be removed.)  They had to remove a rotted board behind the awning and to do that they had to remove a section of the aluminum siding first.  They replaced the siding, then the board with a composite of some kind (sorry I don't remember the name .)   They put caulking behind and around the new replacement to keep out the moisture, etc.  When they finished you could not tell where they had taken out the board and replaced it with the new section.  They did a terrific job.  In the meantime, Sam came in to replace the light over the sink but when he turned it on the light worked.  So that did not have to be replaced.  Unfortunately, it is not working now, but that had nothing to do with Sam.  When they finished everything looked great and they had cleaned up everything.  I was very pleased.   I thought they were a great team and I definitely would hire them again.
