"Bob has done numerous projects for our old house over the years mainly carpentry, and most recently to replace cedar siding on a large area of the house. Bob does excellent carpentry and finish work and is an extremely hard worker. He has also done wood gutter repair, cleaning and sealing, hung exterior doors and installed exterior wood railings for us. The various projects have involved a significant amount of high exterior painting. He has a wide range of skills and excellent problem-solving ability. Because of this history, we have a lot of trust that Bob will do an excellent job at whatever project he accepts. "

"Signed contract on May 8 for deck build.On May 12 rep came to my office to collect deposit of apprx $13,000. He said project team meeting on Wed & would update me then on start date etc. On Fri May 16 I had to reach out to him. He wrote the team had met & materials were ordered. An hour later he wrote back that he was misinformed & that his boss was going to call me next week. Despite this, dep check cashed. On Mon 5. 20 rep wrote back that they had forgotten certain costs & to proceed it would be $8,000 more. Not a typo. $8,000 more. No apology. Ridiculous, contract rescinded. I wrote that he could return my deposit at my office just as he had collected it. On Wednesday the 21st I got a text from "Tom," presumably the owner/boss, saying he would "drop a check in the mail" to my address. Today is May 30th, Friday, and still no check. Check at a minimum should have been overnighted. They owe me interest not to mention the deposit to hire a contractor who will honor contract. Bad."

Him and his assistant finished the first stage of wall repairs in a couple hours.He came back twice after that to finish the job.They were both very friendly very professional even cleaned up all the mess.I talked to Jim about other jobs would like to do down the road. "Mr. Mason's crew cut all my new 6 panel doors too short, the floor is coming up where he took the wall down (have to seek another floor person to repair it), poor planning of electrical work (had to hire an electrician to fix what I requested to have done), installed cheap laminated floors that I was told wouldn't be scratch but are scratched. Call him regarding all my issues, was told his had surgery and would get back to me, that did not happen. Followed up with an email regarding all the problems, no reply. I would never hire this guy and his crew ever again."
