Originally the intent was to install moulding trim around the kitchen door but the space is so tight near the refrigerator I opted to fill the gap and smooth to the same finish as the rest of the wall. He also worked with me to decide the best height for the dryer vent to match the LG specs for the dryer.  Mike worked methodically and finished earlier than expected.

The glass break sensor was a bit sensitive to loud noise such as cabinet door closing and door sensor repeatedly falls off and had to be reattached. "The job went very smoothly. The tech ran a bit late, but he called to say so. He installed a keypad by the front door and assessed the house for security. He suggested, since there are several casement windows in the living room and adjoining dining room that a breaking glass sensor would work better and be more cost-effective than alarming all the windows.
