"I highly recommend MC Tree Service. They arrived promptly with a very large truck and trailer containing all the equipment needed. I had been suffering for 2 weeks with a very itchy and widespread rash from poison ivy or plant based allergy from my yard, which was overgrown with tons of weeds, including poison ivy. Fernando and his team member very energetically got rid of all the weeds and ivy, working non-stop from 7:30AM till after 3:30PM, wearing professional protective uniforms. They made borders and beds around my nice plants, removed all the leaves from under the deck, and totally transformed my yards. Now I don't have to worry about myself or my cat accidentally brushing past or walking on poisonous plants. This service didn't come cheap, but I desperately needed the work done and am very glad I spent the money and got lucky choosing this contractor."

"Very professional and efficient. They pruned the tree exactly as I asked. They were quick and polite throughout the work. They were the only ones who gave me a written quote. They also showed up on time for the quote. For the job itself, they were a little late but they explained why (traffic) and Boston is a very traffic loaded area. Totally acceptable as I think they are quite honest. The cost was also quite acceptable when I compared them to the other quotes I received. "Shaun gave us an estimate to remove 3 maples, a black cherry tree and grind one stump in our backyard. One of the trees was close to a smaller maple, which we wanted to keep and there was no damage to it after the tree removal. Shaun set up the crane on the street in front of our house. Eric and Dave drove up with the chipper equipment. Shaun and Eric worked on the tree cutting and lifted the trees right over our house, letting them down in a side street. Dave fed the large tree chunks right into the chipper. The whole operation was done in about 2 hours. They cleaned up perfectly and you could hardly tell they were here except for some sawdust. Less than 2 weeks later a truck pulled up with two guys who proceeded to grind the one stump. They also did a wonderful job. Everyone did a great job and we were very satisfied. We will hire McDonough again if we need more trees removed. We will also recommend them to all our neighbors."
