"We had a large tree removal project involving 20 trees and including a large, damaged maple with 5ft dia trunk. I received multiple quotes for the project and ended up selecting Jose. His price was competitive and in-line with others. Showed up with his crew a day earlier than planned and completed on-time in 3 days with all material removed from site and stumps ground down. "So I already had a quote and confirmed appointment from a local tree company, to do the job within 16 weeks. Well 20 weeks later still no contact from them. Completely topping a plum tree is a risky business. Cut too much, and you’ll kill your tree. That said, you do need to trim the top of your tree to encourage bushy growth, maintain your tree’s vase shape, and limit size.
