It's an old Boston house with a few old-house surprises lurking behind the walls and under floors. To be clear, none of these issues were Joe's team's fault--just our home's age. Each time we encountered something, Joe promptly let us know what he found, what would need to be done about it, and kept us in the loop. These unexpected issues aside, his team was professional and courteous. I think the thing that really stood out to us was Joe's availability and communication throughout the process. A project this big--it involved digging a few feet into the basement floor, pouring new concrete, etc--was new for us, but Joe generated a lot of trust, both with his knowledge and with his transparency and communication. And at the end of the project, our basement was transformed from a really rough basement into a place that our whole family enjoys spending time. So the process and the end product was really great. "It was a long process in part because we could not go anywhere due to Covid and we have four cats. That being as it was, the process was very well laid out, any questions, and/or issues were all addressed in a timely manner.
