"I had the estimate for the work done which went fine, then called to book the appointment. Was required to put down $200 for the $650 projected repair cost. I did this thinking there would be no issues between then and the repair date. My wife is quite pregnant and we had to move up the repair date to get the nursery ready in time for their birth. (twins) When I called to cancel this appointment and seek a refund of the $200, I was told that the window to cancel was 3 days from the scheduling and that I was forfeit my deposit. This information is in the contract, but I did not catch it at the time. I could only imagine if this were a bigger project and something like this happened to someone else. For the cost of $200 Pioneer Basement has not only lost me as a future customer, but forced my hand in posting several poor reviews such as this one. For any future customers, pay very close attention to this and hope "life" doesn't happen to you in between. Good luck."

I would highly recommend just calling them to book your appointment (the online chat is not as helpful). But otherwise super easy to book an appointment. They gave me a call about an hour before the tech was supposed to arrive and he arrived within the expected time. I had Nick as a technician. He was extremely cordial and I appreciated how he brought shoe covers (for when he had to walk around inside my home). I also really appreciated all the information he provided after the service was completed.
