"The project went extremely well. Gaby is a consummate craftsman and finish carpenter. As someone who built custom furniture in my early days, I am very familiar with woodworking and can immediately distinguish between good, quality work and Excellent craftsmanship. Gaby fits the latter! He does all the work himself and takes incredible pride in the quality of his work. He built out the shelving in our pantry and when completed, there was an issue with the height of each of the shelves. When I brought the issue to his attention, Gaby apologized profusely and was back at my house within 48 hours to remedy the situation. This is a situation where you get what you pay for! His pricing was a bit high but fair as custom-built cabinets go. The difference is justified in the quality of materials he uses and the attention to every little detail during installation. During COVID, we paid 50% up front so he could purchase the materials right away as the cost of aLL MATERIALS CONTINUED TO SOAR. Gaby is honest, friendly, highly skilled and fin to work with. The only criticism I have is every decision made and agreement made was on a handshake (Old-school). There was not a formal quote or any paperwork other than the drawings from our designer that I provided. He gave me a range on price and of course, when the work was done, it was the higher of the range. We had initially planned for 2 pantries built by Gaby but ended up only needing shelves in a modified pantry that had already existed which my builder had modified. There were no adjustments in his verbal quote or final price. I had wished at the time that it was in writing. Good communication. Always on time and said what he would do and did what he said! "Deyvin's Construction Inc. did a fantastic job on our 40+ outdoor stairs, which were at least 30 years old. They added five-inch screws on our steps, added concrete pedestals for some of the unsupported verticals, did a power-wash, added a primer, gave two coats of oil-based paint, added some supports under the stairs, straightened one of the sloping top steps, and did excellent work, overall The men were polite, hardworking, and reliable. They took pride in doing a fine job. I wish them all the very best in their future endeavors, and am filled with gratitude that they took care of our stairs. I recommend them wholeheartedly. "We had a very small roof area need to be repaired. I sent request to multiple company to give a service quote. Few of them sent me replies and stated that they are too busy to come. Matt of MMP Consturction's contacted me promptly, scheduled an on-site visit and gave us a quote right away. The work was then scheduled and finished quickly. Matt did great job on reaching out, effective communication, and always arriving on-time. He also gave an evaluation on our roof condition. "Leo and his team did an exceptional job repainting our house. We had a lot of wood rot as well as a leak. Their carpentry work is very impressive and took care of all of our issues. They worked quickly and finished ahead of schedule even during the heatwave in Boston. All workers were professional, respectful, and carefully cleaned up everything everyday. Leo was always available to answer questions and check in about the progress with an in person conversation and photos. "Exceptional workmanship. Homeowners usually have some anxiety when working with contractors. None of that needed here! Prompt and ready to go with his crew the day the work was scheduled to handle some dry rot on some exterior parts of the home. As soon as the wood came off, the problem was clearly more extensive (I wish I could include the pics so you could see the nasty 'before' and clean-and-painted finished 'after'). Moises showed me the issue and made specific recommendations as to remediation. Since this was out of the scope of the initial project, he was clear in detailing materials and time that it would take. Since I like things done once, correctly, I agreed with his assessments and necessary corrections. We ended up having to remove far more of the damp and rotted wood than we thought, replacing insulation, covering it with new and treated wood, and Tyvek wrapping it before putting in fresh siding. I'm glad we did the full work necessary and that didn't just cover over the problem. Did it cost a little more? Yes, and well worth every penny of it to get it done right the first time and protect the home from future problems. Job was finished on time and the place was spotless when they left. Not only do I recommend hiring him, but I fully intend to bring him back for some other work I need done. Again, exceptional workmanship."
