A skim coat was applied and, once hardened, the whole area was cleaned and stained. It’s beautiful! We can’t say enough about how diligent Lou and Andrew are in their, often backbreaking, work. Once completed, the work area was left spotlessly clean. "When our inground gunnite pool all of a sudden began to loose significant amounts of water, trying to keep it open became impossible. After contacting Home Advisor, we placed a call to Maclachlan Pool and Spa service. Jim responded to our call the same day and actually came to assess the problem the same day. Our main drain in the pool had a real big problem perhaps when the pool was last re-surfaced. We scheduled a repair with Jim. Jim explained all of the options we had. From our discussions It is clear that Jim has extensive knowledge and experience with pool systems. After Jim provided a solution our pool problem is solved and already running again. In addition to Jim's overall experience and knowledge of pool systems, Jim is a friendly and very pleasant person to deal with. We have already provided Maclachlan Pool and Spa service with a another referral. "Joe was fantastic. We bought a new lantern+post for front yard but installing it wasn't cut and dried because the old lamp post was shorter so the wiring had to be extended, and the previous post was only in the ground 1 foot deep while the new one, since taller/larger, needed to be 3 feet down. We also wanted a junction box/outlet mounted on the base of the post for holiday lights. We were in a hurry because of company coming...and were about to be out of town for a week making our window even smaller. Joe called me back the day I called him. Over the phone I explained what we needed, sent him pix from my phone of the lantern, post, install kit, etc. He told me about how much it would be. Told me to go on vacation, leave the post etc on our back stoop, the inside switch to that circuit off, and when we arrived home, it would be up and running. And it was! Straight and sturdy and he even painted it to match the trim on our house w/o me asking for that! The day after we got home we realized we wanted the old broken timer to work and a different switch inside so I called. He and his co-worker were here that day and the work was done by 3 PM. That also wasn't simple because the circuit it was on had not been done properly in a previous DIY project so that was re-wired. His willingness to fit us in between bigger jobs was super helpful.
