"This is the 4th time I have hired SILMAC for a project, and this was the largest job by far - a full gut renovation of my kitchen, adding a powder room, and putting on an addition with a laundry/mudroom. I’m so pleased with how everything turned out - it is truly the space I had dreamed about when I bought the house! Joe and his crew are extremely reliable and responsive. It’s inevitable that bumps in the road will arise during a large renovation like this, especially in an old house, but Joe was proactive in addressing them and always kept me informed. "this was an Angie's List special for roof inspection and minor repair after a brutal Boston Winter. We had substantial water damage from water leakage through skylights and I was concerned about damage to the wood under the skylights, trying to figure out what had happened and what needed to be done.  Matt communicated easily by e-mail, was very prompt in responding, and provided a photograph of the improper installation done by the builder.  He provided a contract with options of what could be done promptly.  The only ding is that he didn't comment on missing shingles on the roof "

"Richard was very customer focused. Very efficient, very accommodating and most important VERY Patent to my needs/Changes to drawings. Very quick turnaround on my particular project. His 3D Drawings helped to show what the interiors would look like as well as exteriors. Very helpful for customers that need a Real Time Visual other than your basic Blueprint drawings that are also included. He responds back to you quickly and updates you with drawings as you move through your project. Very helpful and thinks outside of the box. I would recommend his services if your looking for a more personalized Architect. Cost will vary on size and type of Project. My cost for what I needed is listed in this review."

"DiOrio Builders & Designers has been excellent to work with on several projects around our 1890s colonial home in Boston. Over the last few years, they have painted the interior of our house, installed hardwood flooring, rebuilt our front porch, installed French drains in the back, reinforced and repointed our granite foundation, rebuilt our kitchen floor and tiled it, and installed numerous lights and a range hood. The quality of work is top-notch and they were great to work with. Pricing was fair, communication was professional and timelines were met. I recommend them to all my friends."

"Scott was very prompt and courteous in setting up our appointment, walking through our basement space with us, and then providing a plan and estimate for the work.  We knew exactly what we wanted to do with the space, and from our discussion on that and the measurements he took, Scott created a drawing that represented exactly what we envisioned.  He did a great job with everything and I had every confidence he could do the project well, but in the end his price was a fair bit higher than other quotes so we ended up going with another contractor.

"Excellent! We hired Sanfer and his team after meeting with him a few times and checking references. We really liked his can-do attitude and flexibility. He was easy to talk to and had some design ideas that we chose over the architects. He is a strong builder, meaning he doesnt skimp on making it well made. That was important to me. He has a really great finish carpenter too. Shout out to Edgard! Our remodel was a 4 room, bathroom, 2 floor addition (now a walk out basement/first floor) to accommodate an inlaw apt on the ground floor and office and living room on the first. We also had a small elevator added between the two floors. The pricing was right down the middle compared to others. The elevator installers remarked that the hoistway was the best built they had worked with, which was important since it needed to be within a quarter inch of plumb at any point. We used Sanfer for other smaller add ons and would hire them again for a large or smaller job."

"We couldn’t have had a better experience. From the start...even before we made a decision to hire HS plastering and painting, Humberto gave us a detailed quote and answered all of our questions. He was punctual and professional and he made sure all our questions were answered. We wanted to have the painting done before the holidays and he made sure our schedule was honored. When it came time for the work to start, all of the workers were as respectful to my home as Humberto was. Every inch of my flooring and furnishings were protected and when they were finished at the end of the day, their materials were neatly stored in the designated area In my garage. In addition they made certain we had access to our kitchen area so we had coffee in the morning. The work was impeccable. Attention to detail and ensuring my home was clean each night ensured the experience was something I would recommend. My home is beautiful and when they left there was no dust anywhere in my home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them"
