"It was the best experience I have ever had! Working with Jane and Allen was a pleasure. They are low key and they know what they are doing. Their contractor and workers are a pleasure to have around. The kitchen cabinets only took 3 days to install. The Quartz countertop was installed in a couple of hours. I had Jane and Allen use a company they use for the countertop, Jane stayed in my house to oversee the entire time the countertop was being installed. I was very impressed. My kitchen is beautiful. I most highly recommend this company with Jane and Allen."

"The cabinets themselves were very well made, but the process and other aspects of the experience were less than great. Michael didn't pay much attention to the detailed drawings or project parameters provided by the designer, and didn't verify as-built conditions. As a result one of the cabinets was incorrectly sized and some floating shelves I provided were incorrectly installed. Because they hadn’t been included in the original quote, I had to pay an additional fee. Additionally ,communication and adherence to promised schedule and deadlines was inconsistent. Michael is a nice guy and I can tell he’s capable of doing some very good work, but I wouldn’t hire him again based on this experience."

Based on their rating, we contacted Kitchen Tune-Up in Newton. Allen and Mike visited us, took the necessary measurements and suggested how we could also add a cabinet in another part of the kitchen to compensate for the loss of storage space because of the oven. The price was reasonable as was the installation date. On the scheduled date of the installation Mike and his crew installed the new cabinets. They were extremely careful, efficient and friendly.
