The ceiling repair was being paid for by the HOA master insurance carrier, and I was so thankful Derek was willing to take the job, despite knowing that the payment process was going through insurance, and was delayed. He was very kind, patient, understanding, timely with replies, and always followed through with his word. He actually restored my faith that there are honest contractors out there. His quote was more than fair, and his team traveled like 2, 2.5 hours for the job. His guys were always on time, very personable, and professional. This ensures the mud dries completely, although drying time depends on temperature, humidity, and the type of compound used. Lightweight muds dry faster, while heavier all-purpose compounds take longer. Always check for firmness and dryness before sanding or applying the next layer.

If you don’t have studs in the area where you want to install your TV mount, you may still be able to install a TV mount on drywall.
