Customers say: True professional

"Bergeron Drain Pro was excellent. They were professional, knowledgeable, and affordable. Water was backing up out of my basement floor drain. They showed up and we discussed possible problems and the several different options on how to fix it. They explained everything thoroughly and didn't push me in one way or another.. I went with the hydro-jetting and am glad I did. They did a professional job and I am very happy with the result. I will definitely use them again if the unfortunate occurrence happens again."

"The Plummer was upfront and able to diagnose the problem after previous Plummer had failed to do so. He was also very helpful in guiding us through next steps as we were not immediately financially prepared to fix the overall issue."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

No, bleach will not harm PVC pipes. Assuming the bleach is not mixed with any other chemicals, you can dilute it and pour it down a drain that has PVC plumbing. Undiluted bleach won’t hurt PVC pipes, but bleach should be diluted before disposing of it by pouring it down a drain.

Yes, there are ways to fix some pool pipe leaks without digging a trench. In some cases, pool professionals use a specific polymer-based solution to travel through a pipe and plug up a leak. In other cases, they can use specialized cameras to refit the damaged area with new piping. Not only are these approaches less intrusive to your home, but they also cut down on the cost of your pool repairs overall.

It’s safe to carry out minor repairs on small cracks and leaks on copper pipes by yourself. Since copper melts under heat, you can solder a copper pipe to repair what’s broken. Note that it’s better to solder two couplings and a copper pipe together to fix minor leaks. This gives you some additional material for a stronger repair.

No, your toilet tank should not empty completely when you flush. Although the water level will dip a lot after you flush, it shouldn’t be totally empty. If your tank is empty, you might have issues with your fill valve, float ball, or toilet trip lever. You should check all of your toilet parts to ensure they’re working correctly and make any necessary adjustments.

Most experienced professionals can get an entire trenchless pipe lining project done in a single day, and smaller projects might take as little as three to four hours. If your technician uses machinery to dig the two access points, the job will likely be faster, whereas manual digging will take a bit longer and could push the project above six hours.
