"It went fairly smoothly. They gave honest feedback on the existing fixtures (what needed to be replaced, what could be repaired). They didn't have an exterior fixture that I needed on the truck so I went out and purchased locally. They installed and set up the auto settings for an exterior spotlight. Indoors, they installed a new ceiling fixture in a hallway and diagonosed and repaired some recessed can lights in the basement. One of the two has since failed again, which was a risk I took to avoid a replacement. Looks like I will need to call them again!"

"I had an old light fixture removed that did not have a backbox & cover plate to house the wires correctly and a bedroom ceiling fan that mysteriously stopped working. I read a number of Angie's list reviews and felt that VMA Electric seemed like straight shooters, fully transparent and would be able to solve my issues efficiently. (I knew this job would be T&M rather than pre-quoted as it's impossible to say how long something like this would take). But Nancy in the office was wonderful to work with scheduling the work and she gave me the hourly rates ahead of time so I knew what I was going into. I was fortunate with my timing as they just had a cancellation - so they were onsite the very next morning. They solved both of my issues efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and made the whole process extremely wonderful. If you're reading this saying "I just need an electrician or two to come by and fix a couple of lingering items that I've had on my checklist for awhile" - you've found your company. The invoice/bill for the work was emailed to me the following day and it was exactly in line with expectations (a lot of reviewers are cautious about seeing an invoice after the fact). The pricing was exactly in line with the rates previously given and it was itemized with materials, etc. Anybody would be very happy with this group."

In helping us with the numerous decisions along the way, Jane brought high energy and enthusiasm as well as many great ideas.  It was definitely a collaborative effort throughout the whole project.
Jane had a well thought out project plan, which enabled the work to progress smoothly.  The project was completed within the estimated window even with some unforeseen, yet necessary, plumbing repairs to the upstairs bathroom.

"Kitchen Center was excellent!  They were completely professional and patient with inexperience.  In a matter of a few meetings, we jointly converged on a beautiful set of cabinets and vanity that met and surpassed my needs. 
The design work was complete and detailed (no surprises on delivery).  I was given ample notice and prodding for decision-making to stay on schedule. 
The cabinets arrived on schedule and installed (by contractor) perfectly.
I cannot say enough good about the quality of the cabinets and excellent service provided.

"These guys are absolutely top-notch. They take the time to understand our needs and preferences, and propose complete solutions with all the necessary equipment, cabling, etc. They explain their approach for installation BEFORE they start. They are extremely punctual, and communicate well. They return phone calls promptly. When they are at the house doing installation work, they are very professional, and clean up after their work. The hardest part of the installation seems to be programming the custom remotes. The multitude of different equipment brands they configure into these systems requires meticulous remote programming. A couple of times when we found minor issues with the remotes, they came back out for no additional cost and adjusted them until they worked perfectly. Overall, we can't think of how Carlos and his team could do a better job. You can rest easy if you hire them - you'll be in great hands!"
