Ryan and Tom arrived promptly, performed an exceptional job on replacing my undercounter lighting, as-well as repairing a ceiling fixture. Cleaned up everything thoroughly and made sure to demonstrate the new lighting settings so I was comfortable with them. Terrific job all-around and would highly recommend.

We had a list of items that needed to be completed (driveways lamps posts/lighting, cathedral ceiling fan, various fixtures, etc.) and a couple of more involved projects we were thinking of doing, like a hot tub installation. Harland Electric was responsive, prompt, courteous and professional throughout the entire process—from initial contact, estimate and work. They itemized each of the projects so that we could pick and choose the work that needed to be done, and were helpful in detailing the complexities of certain projects and weighing the pros and cons of having electrical work done. During the course of coming to the house and knocking every item off of our list (which took 1.2 days worth of work/time), they also alerted us to an electrical fire hazard for an outdoor flood light that another electrician from another previous company just left and said was okay. They replaced the entire light and wiring and now it looks great the way it illuminates our side yard! We even overpaid at the end of the project and they immediately let us know! They are scheduled to return in the spring to install a pool heater and we have no doubt they will do a great job. Overall, great service, highly ethical company and good value overall. Highly recommend!

The Harland Electric team is extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. Jeremy and Jacob installed a chandelier on an 18ft foyer ceiling using a 15ft A-frame ladder and did so without marking up walls or floor. I have a laundry list of electric work to be doled out and Harland will be my first choice.

The Harland Electric staff (Hugo and Tom) did a great job and installed a functional electrical solution that worked - no more breaker tripping! They showed up early, started working right away and demonstrated great teamwork as they were separated most of the time being on second floor or basement and communicating over their phones. They informally shared status of conditions as they worked (which I really appreciated) and even went above and beyond by figuring out how to move the GFCI outlet in a better position to reach. We have used Harland Electric in the past and this proves they are able to go the extra mile to implement and solve electrical issues that other contractors can't.

Very well - they arrived when scheduled, diagnosed the problem efficiently, proposed a solution and got it taken care of in an hour. We've used Harland a few times and the work has always been good. Their one drawback is they sometimes take a day or two to respond to calls, but once they're scheduled, they're terrific.

I had Harland Electric come out and check out my electrical panel due to an issue where the electric dryer kept tripping the circuit breaker. (There was water near the breaker that I observed when it did this.) I had a few other minor things I wanted to have them check at the same time. The guys (Kevin and Derek) were great and knowledgeable and recommended I replace the panel due to the corrosion. I got an e-mail from Bill Harland who gave me information on what my options were and some estimates. I asked a bunch of questions and Bill was a great help in making a final decision. I felt he was honest about his recommendation as I debated doing a more expensive upgrade and Bill felt for my situation it would be overkill. I opted for a full replacement 100amp with the feed from the outside. (My house is very small and 100 amps has always been more than sufficient) Kevin and Mike showed up on time for the appointment and did an awesome job on the replacement. The work was high quality, neat and professional. The guys were also great around the young children (2 and 5), they very friendly and even my wife was comfortable (and that's impressive). They cleaned up completely and even took care of a couple of additional things that I had hoped (but didn't expect) they'd be able to get to. There were no surprises with the bill and within the estimate (even with the extra stuff). Judy in the office was also very nice and great with setting up schedules and dealing with the deposit. I will definitely use Harland again if I need electrical work done.

Harland was extremely helpful and responsive -- they made the extra effort to get to me on the same day, since the problem was shutting off my smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and my garage lifters. The technician methodically went spot by spot to rule out some, isolate, find and solve the issue. And they did not charge me the outrageous "emergency" fees that many companies charge.

I had Harland Electric come out to inspect/replace some baseboard heaters. All the heaters are close to 40 years old and one had started sparking. Kevin and Jake first came out to inspect the heaters and determined two of them needed replacement and they recommended replacing a third one. They disabled the one that was sparking and came back about 2 weeks later to replace the heaters. They had no problems replacing two of the heaters, but the 3rd was problematic and they needed Bill — the owner — to look at it. He arrived fairly quickly and determined the problem was a mislabeled wiring diagram on the new heater. When they hooked it up the way he told them it worked. Service was great and prices were very reasonable.
