"This is the first time we used Home Advisor, so honestly, we were a little leery how it would work out. Our concerns were all for naught. We wanted a central vac system added to our house. Claude responded quickly, got the information he needed, and sent us a quote. Once we accepted, he ordered all the materials and set up a time for installation. He showed up on time, explained what he was going to do, and then did the installation. Afterwards, he went over everything in detail, giving us tips on the accessories, changing the bag in the vacuum unit, maintenance,etc. The installation was very neatly done. Claude is a true professional who takes pride in his work. He told us to contact him if we ever have any service issues. We would recommend him to anyone who values quality products and workmanship."

The system was not sucking effectively and instead of suggesting a new system like the first guy who gave me a call from Angie?s list, he troubleshooted the problem. He said it was an easy fix and offered up to come fix it but insisted it was something I can do. I did what he said and had my vacuum acting like brand new in 10 minutes. "Alex and his team (Geoff - plumber, Bruno - electrician) did an outstanding job. Alex responded to my initial query to Angie's list within 10 minutes..... so fast! He then had the plumber, Geoff out there within several days. Geoff was superb. He replaced the disposal and sink faucet and drain, upgrading the plumbing to code in the process. Thus, the robustness of our plumbing was greatly improved by what Geoff did (bringing our plumbing to code required raising some valves, and converting some metal/plastic interfaces to metal/metal). We did run into one problem, which was that the disposal switch developed a short circuit. Alex quickly had an electrician (Bruno) come by. Bruno did an outstanding job, working quickly but improving the electrical box by adding an extra switch. Thus, once again, the entire system was improved by their high quality work. Geoff in particular ended up spending more time than initially anticipated, so the price was double what was initially quoted, but I felt that a lot more work was done than initially anticipated, the work was high quality, Geoff and Bruno both worked quickly and hard (taking no breaks), so ultimately I felt that the cost was well worth it. Very fair. Alex also manages everything from afar, and does a great job. He responds immediately to subsequent calls and has an excellent interaction style. I would definitely hire them again and strongly recommend them!"

"Initially I felt that the repairs were excellent, liked the colors they chose which matched the house colors and brightened things up.Later, I noticed that some of the boards on the back stairs were cracking and that the boards were not cut evenly.  I called Jorge (who was my contact at that time) and informed him what had happened.  He sounded not interested, did not want anymore information.  No one came to investigate.  I waited a few months and called the company back and spoke with Johnny who informed me that Jorge did not work there anymore.  I discussed with Johnny what had happened and he informed me that there would be someone to come and look at the stairs, etc.  Within one week a company supervisor came by to survey the job and reported that that's not how we do things.  Last week they came by and fixed the stairs etc.  Now everything looks great.  It was a pleasure to work with Johnny and perhaps I may do business with them again, but not in the immediate future. The grades on this review reflect the current people with the company not the ones who originally did the work."
