"Went well,very nice to deal with and informative.Came back when I called back because the smell of smoke was coming into the house.They checked it out and said everything was fine.Claimed it had something to do with the chimney being on the outside wall and the cold weather.The weather hadn't been that cold when it was happening and the chimney was not on the outside wall,maybe 7 feet away from the outside wall,so I don't quite understand the explanation.Again,very nice to deal with.

"I couldn't be happier with Joe and his crew.  From first contact and the time we met to get an estimate I could tell right off the bat he knew exactly what he was talking about, and was very professional about everything.  I met with 2 other contractors, and even though Home Facelifters wasn't the cheapest, I knew that they would get the job done right and on time.  They dealt with all of the city inspectors and dealt with pulling all the permits, they helped me pick out many of the different items for the house like the cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring, and even colors for the walls.  There were some things that I thought I wanted a certain way but Joe was always willing to try and explain why another way might be better, which I do appreciate.  The payment process was very simple, we did go over our original estimate, but he had told me upfront there was a chance we would find things behind the walls that we couldn't predict, and I was prepared to possibly go over by a certain amount so that wasn't a problem.  The work was done very quickly, and the quality of everything is great.  I will definitely be using Joe and his crew on future projects of mine.

"These guys are great! We had our driveway expanded and needed it paved and also wanted our walkway redone. The owner John came out right away to talk and go over the project. He gave us great ideas and explained the scope of the work and have us a very reasonable price. The crew started right away and were punctual and professional. "Pros: Arrived on time, crew was nice, got the job done regardless that it was going longer than anticipated, very responsive when we requested follow up visits for recurring water problems even after the waterproofing.Cons: the estimate was rushed and impersonal. (However the estimate came in at a reasonable price in the middle of all the estimates we received and the work recommended made sense to what we needed so we went with it.) We had to have them come back several times because the waterproofing did not work as expected. We still had a lot of water coming through the walls and spreading across the floor. After about 3 extra visits, the issues subsided and, while water still comes down the walls after heavy rains, at least it go into the drains/pumps and does not spread across the floor."
