"Brian and Julia were great from start to finish. From the initial contact and quote, to installation through frozen ground on a cold day, to the training, and ultimate successful containment of an incorrigible golden retriever puppy running out to greet and maul everyone walking by. If youâ re looking for a pet fence and company to deal with from day 1 and beyond, you will find none better and will be very satisfied with Brian and Julia."

"Rob and his crew did an amazing job on our fence. We thought we wanted a PVC fence but after talking to him decided to go with the cedar fence and we completely agree with his reasons and with the results! Wow! We changed the placement of the fence just before install and Rob had no problem accommodating the new placement either. Kept us informed of all the steps along the way and got the whole project done in 3 days. Our dog now has the room to run and roam and our yard looks fantastic. Thanks Rob!"

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Droppings from cockroaches, squirrels, mice, bats, and birds can resemble rat poop, making it easy to confuse one for another. Mouse droppings are smaller and more pointed, cockroach droppings resemble tiny black specks or ground pepper, and bat guano can look similar but usually crumbles into powder. Bird droppings sometimes have a similar shape, but often include white uric acid deposits. If in doubt, it’s best to consult a pest control professional for proper identification and removal.

Raccoons are more social than badgers. Badgers are solitary creatures, with the exceptions being mating season and rearing their young. Raccoons are more adaptable and often found in groups, especially in urban areas. Raccoons form loose social structures and frequently forage together and share dens. This social behavior helps them thrive in diverse environments, from forests to cities.

Most treatments take 1-3 hours, but severe infestations may require multiple visits.

If a coyote approaches you, never run away, even if it goes against your natural instinct. Make yourself look big, shout loudly, and throw something in the coyote's direction. Be persistent and continue these scare tactics until they move away. Then, you should move away slowly, always facing the coyote.

No, one snake does not always mean more. While snakes do often congregate in dens to breed, for most of the year, they are primarily solitary creatures that do not travel in groups. A single snake may make its way near your home in search of food, warmth, or shelter.
