Although their prices were within a few hundred dollars of each other’s, Asphalt Engineering’s proposal was far superior. It was a multi-page document that included photos, sketches, details, dimensions, and a cost estimate. The other contractor submitted a two-paragraph proposal. Asphalt Engineering arrived as scheduled to remove the existing driveway, grade, and install a gravel base sloped for proper drainage. "We initially hired Jorge and his team to do a patio and walkway in our back yard. The quality of the work was just great. Jorge recommended nice materials, and the installation was done with care and considerable artistry. They also graded some of the yard after a construction project, spread some loam and seeded a new lawn. The outcome was excellent.
