"As a testament to how happy we were with our first renovation provided by the Curtice Group in 2021, which provided completely new kitchen/dining/mudroom/bath, we hired Scott and his team again in 2024-25 for another major renovation. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. I’m a big fan of the design/build concept, because you really don’t want to separate those two elements into different contractors, and if you find a talented company, they can handle all aspects of the job fluidly. Scott Curtice has a real knack for design, he is attentive and cares about details, and he will perform carpentry and touch-up work as needed. Moreover, he handled all the project coordination so that we could do the jobs that we do well, which do not include home renovation."

"This project was very challenging: tight lot, very complex steel structure, vicious neighbors and city inspectors. Marco gave us a very good estimate, and we decided to hire him. Soon after we poured foundation, we had to halt the construction (it was an unrelated issue) for over a year. Marco was very patient and waited until we settled that issue and could resume the work. He was faithfully maintaining the lot in the meantime. After we could resume the work, Marco put an absolutely amazing foreman Junior (Jarbas) who has extraordinary skills!! The team was amazing, very high quality. Junior asked us when an important decision was to be made, such as choice of granite or sinks etc. After the project was finished, we are still amazed at how much thought Junior and Marco have put into this house! A very complex commercial-grade fire alarm, an intercom system, sound-proofing... Even after half a year, we see no single place where things could have been done better. He used very good materials, not a cheap stuff. The crew was top-notch: most folks stayed from start to finish, very high-quality workmanship. We cannot be happier about the GC choice we made. "These guys are the hardest working crew Ive ever seen. Showed up every day at 7am and stayed until 7-8pm every night! I cant say enough about their work ethic. Wladimir was great to work with right from the initial site visit, to the quote, and right up through the finished product. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to projects. I have high expectations of how things are built and the final results. Id rather have quality work over saving a buck. I had multiple contractors out and narrowed them down and eventually chose WS Builders because of my interactions with Wlad right from the start. Very personable, great guy and listened to what I actually wanted and didnt just yes me to death. He knew exactly what I was expecting from the start and his guys blew away my expectations. We had been saving up for years for a new deck and Wlad and his crew were able to deliver. He offered different products and didnt try to push me towards the more expensive options and let me choose what I wanted. (we went with Trex but he gave us other options as well) He was always quick to respond whenever I had a question or wanted something changed because I wanted it to look a very specific way etc. He was here the day the materials were delivered to make sure they were put exactly where I wanted. He was very careful to make sure that my yard had the least amount of damage as I told him from the start that was one of my concerns. We now have an absolutely beautiful deck that will last longer than my home with the way it was constructed. I wanted it over built and they delivered. If I ever needed more work done in the future, Wlad would be the first guy I call. If you are looking for a great company to work with I highly recommend WS Builders!"
