"During the crazy winter, we had a water pipe burst in our old house, circa 1850. Once the pipes were repaired and water-damaged walls and ceilings were removed, John took care of all the plastering repairs. He was so prompt with his replies, easy to schedule, showed up when he said he would, and did such excellent work. Not only that, he was a pleasure to have around -- so friendly and kind!"

"This job was to replace and paint a small section of ceiling drywall that was water damaged and would not take paint without staining through. Pedro Tellez did a fantastic job. Cut out and replaced the damaged section and then painted the entire ceiling to match the color and texture of the adjacent ceiling. He was very friendly, arrived on time, moved rugs & furniture, sealed off the area and did a thorough clean up when the work was done and moved the rugs & furniture back. I would highly recommend them."

You can plaster over regular drywall, but it's essential to prepare the surface properly. Before plastering, the drywall should be clean, free of dust, and any loose or peeling paint should be removed. Applying a primer specifically designed for plastering can improve adhesion. Whether a drywall anchor can be reused depends on its material, type, and the method of removal. Plastic anchors, including expansion and self-drilling types, are generally designed for single use as they tend to break or deform upon removal. Metal anchors, such as toggle bolts, are more durable and may be reusable if they are not damaged during extraction. However, with toggle bolts, the toggle piece can fall into the wall cavity when the bolt is removed, making it difficult to retrieve.
