He picked the time saying he had to go to church so 3 pm was when he could come. He called me at 11:15 am that day wanted to come right then . When I told him no one would be home he cancelled the job . So frustrating after waiting two weeks . Please pick someone else for your jobs ."

Contact cement is the best glue for resticking laminate to countertops. For best results, find a product that specifically states that it can be used to secure laminate countertops, such as 3M High-Strength Spray Adhesive, Weldwood Contact Cement, Gorilla Max Strength Clear Construction Adhesive, or 3M Fastbond. Before gluing, sand the area you plan to glue to remove any large debris and to rough it up for better adhesion.

First, use the right blade, which we’ve already discussed. However, there are other ways to prevent chipping, such as using painter’s tape to mark the edges. It creates a clear, easy-to-see line. Cutting from the top down can also prevent chipping when using a blade with horizontal teeth. You may also want to cut from the back of the laminate sheet toward you to better stay on the line and keep your speed consistent.

Extensive chips and cracks may require a full replacement of the countertop. The cost to install a new countertop is around $3,100 on average. But, if the damaged area is relatively small, you may want to consider repairing it yourself or calling in a qualified professional.
