The owner, Glenn said that padding was installed with carpet. Another contractor who came over afterward told me there was no padding but the owner still insisted that padding WAS installed. Just started pulling up the carpet and THERE IS NO PADDING! Not sure why I was chosen to be ripped off but I was. The carpet was the cheapest. He did install tile on the kitchen floor which was not a part of the deal. Probably had leftover tile from another job. I would have much preferred that owner would have just done a sufficient job on the carpet. Anyone can contact me to verify my claim or come to my house in Port Allen. I plan to install the carpet myself. I can not do any worse.

We had popcorn ceilings removed and painted. They did an excellent job and our ceilings look amazing!

Glenn and his team are fast, efficient workers that do quality work. We had his team change our countertops in the kitchen, master bath and kids bath. Also paint the cabinets, trim and walls. They did an excellent job and I will hire them again for future projects.

This company was efficient, with some appointment times late. The quality was good and the final product well done.

Glenn, the owner, is very friendly and easy to talk to. After our contractor bailed on us in Dec. 2016, we hired Glenn and his crew to paint the interior of our house from the crown molding to the floor. They did an excellent job! I also was in need of a plumber and an electrician and Glenn was able to locate these guys for us and once again, he got the jobs done to my satisfaction. We were able to move back into our house the middle of March, 2017. I would highly recommend Glenn and his crew!

The crew that completed the job was excellent. Glenn, the owner, was prompt in starting work and completing the total job. I did have a small complaint following the completion of the job that I was unable to resolve through the owner, Glenn. He would not answer his phone and after many attempts I finally spoke to him. He promised on 2 occasions to come to the house but did not arrive nor did he call to follow up on either occasion. I finally had to handle the issue myself. After doing what I considered a good job in painting the interior of the house, his lack of professionalism in resolving a routine punch list issue was upsetting. Consequently I could not recommend him in the future.

I inquired with 4 different contractors before choosing Glenn with Specialty Coatings, LLC.. Glenn gave me an instant bid, on the spot; which we broke into two separate phases. Having suffered from the Great Baton Rouge Flood of 2016; we had to gut the house at the 4 foot level, remove all flooring, sheet rock, insulation, doors, etc. at the 4 foot level. After I sprayed in foam insulation into the outer walls, Glen's crew came in, hung sheet rock, taped, mudded, scrapped popcorn ceilings, sprayed full texture everywhere (walls & ceilings); painted, found doors when no one had them, and hung doors in record time. That record time was one to two weeks before my neighbors could complete their re-build, and they started a week before me. In fact, my neighbor hired Glenn & Specialty coating, once he saw the work they had done was of good quality and excellent attention to detail. Let it be known, I am a very picky person. I am a Quality Control Manager at a large Construction firm; and I started my career out building houses while I paid my way thru college. I know good construction when I see it. I made an error in picking out one of the paints for the walls, and had to ask Glenn to choose a darker color. They did it with NO Complaints. I in turn hired him to find a good installer for my new wood floors; and I am pleased in every way for all of the work that they have performed. What is more important, my wife is highly pleased, and that is what you have to live with. Keep her happy, everyone is happy! I'd highly recommend Glenn & Specialty Coatings, LLC for any work needed to be done on any re-model, construction or re-build that you may have. This contractor worked very hard to make me happy. He completed a couple jobs which were not on the original list and did not charge an additional fee.

This repair was contracted with a handshake only. The resulting work exceeded all my expectations. I would highly recommend them for stucco repair and am in the process of considering them for drywall repair and painting jobs.

After a frustrating search for a contractor to perform an assortment of jobs at my new house, I was put at ease by Glen and his crew with Specialty coating Services, LLC. While other guys were "working on their bids", Glen cam in and gave us an standing quote, on the spot. Their prices were VERY reasonable, and the work performed was outstanding. Many tasks they performed were free of charge, such as making small repairs to make everything perfect. They painted my entire house interior, refinished my floors, put granite on my counters, built a fence and replaced a hot water heater all in a timely fashion. I have since recommended them to several friends and co-workers, and will continue to use this company for and all projects in the future.

Glenn and his team went right to work. Removed wall paper in 2 rooms. Primed and painted Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, 3 Bedrooms and a long Hallway. Got the whole job done in a week. Highly recommend Specialty Coatin Services. Glenn went the extra mile for us!

Glenn and his team were very nice. However, the first time they sprayed finish on sheetrock, their compressor broke and they had to use mine. Mine wasn't professional grade so spray was not what I wanted on walls. They also forgot to do the bottoms of all closet doors. They did come back and finish them but they couldn't spray orange peel on them because they were already painted and cloths moved back in to do the next two rooms. When they came out the next time for two room, most corners were not sanded well. Also, something is wrong with their sprayer, it puts pieces of blue material in the spray which I had to dig off the wall before painting. Overall, people are nice, but their skills and/or the time to do professional sheetrock finishing is poor.

The team was very professional with attention to detail and all! My project included installing and staining the exterior door as well as painting the exterior! I will definitely call them again for my next project.
