"My chest freezer broke down and I did not want to buy a new one since I could not afford the same size. I reached out to appliance parts pro and they were confident that what I ordered would fix my problem. $200 in parts later and I now have a broken freezer on my porch and am still paying the loan to this terrible company. They just want you to order parts and try them because they know you can't return them. I hate this company with every fiber of my being and will make sure that anyone that has a broken appliance will not use them. To top it off, their site is so screwed up that it give you an error trying to log back in. I ended up having to create THREE different accounts because every time I went to place a new order, it would not let me login and it would not send a password reset email. DON'T GET RIPPED OFF."

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. "We could never recommend. We purchased a 26kw whole home generac generator a couple month back. They set it up and told us to run it 24-25 hours to break it in and they would come change the oil and make sure everything was working fine. At the time of install I was told not to install the app because it was junk. Hours after the tech left we did install the app and after running the remainder of that day of install and throughout the night we manually shut the generator down at 22 hours as we noticed the app was showing the battery was discharging all night and the motor sounded like it was misfiring and had an exhaust leak. The technician came out and found a wire was hooked up wrong and then pulled the spark plug to show me it was fouling out, that wasn?t an exhaust leak, the rocker arms that push the valves down were pretty loose on one side of the engine. He removed the valve cover and tightened the rocker arms down using feeler gauges, yes I watched, and he reused the old valve "

"Jim missed the first appointment. He came over the second day, briefly examined my LG refrigerator, and told me that the problem was with the compressor, not any other thing. He charged me $140 for the “diagnostics”. He said the compressor needs to be replaced and later that day he sent me a quote for cost of compressor replacement. I sent that quote to the LG company with all the details they required as the compressor had the company warranty for 10 yrs. They asked me to send me the physical address of the technician as it was not on Jim’s quote. I contacted Jim for his shop’s physical address twice but he refused to give me the address and told me that the LG company will look up for his address on the web if they want! I was not able to follow through with LG because of his lack of address."

It’s not worth fixing a 20-year-old dishwasher or any 20-year-old appliance. Twenty years is beyond the useful life span of nearly every major household appliance. Many people think this question relates directly to their electricity bill. Running your dishwasher at night both keeps your bill lower and is better for the environment.
