I spoke with someone who assured me that a tech would come out on Friday and when I called back to make sure they were still coming I was informed that the appointment was moved back 2 more weeks. Meanwhile I find termites around the inside perimeter of my home and still nothing. I will be calling for a refund of all my funds. If I could give zero stars I would."

"I ONLY gave a 1 star rating, cause this is the Only way I can submit this rating. They Do NOT deserve a 1 star rating. They deserve a -0 Rating. Worker Justin 1st came. Made up some Big Numbers on his lap top then started some work with the sink focets I purchased. He is a Scam Artist. I asked for paperwork on everything that he did with prices & Paperwork on the Warenty he said I have. Still haven't received any paperwork 2 weeks later. Though he TOOK my money QUICK. Other workers came a few days after to install focets& shower heads in 2 bathrooms. They cut out sheetrock in order to get to the pipes, & said they would not repair the sheetrock back (THAT THEY CUT OUT). We were told we would have to Hire their contractor who did sheetrock in order to have it repaired. I REFUSE TO GIVE THEM ANY MORE MONEY. I WILL FIND SOMEONE MYSELF & AND GLADLY GIVE MY MONEY TO SOMEONE ELSE. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I ENCOUNTER TO NEVER USE TIMS SOUTHERN AIR. AND OF COURSE I WILL NEVER USE TIMS SOUTHERN AIR EVER AGAIN. ONCE THEIR DONE WITH THE JOB, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FRO. THEM AGAIN. THEY ARE NOW DODGING MY PHONE CALLS ASKING FOR PAPERWORK I AM REQUESTINGCAUTIOUS TO EVERYONE. "Let me preface by saying I have never deemed it necessary to write a bad review of anything, ever! However Fontenot’s actions have effected my entire family’s lives in such a negative way that I can no longer refrain from sharing our story. A few years ago we had Fontenot’s install a new HAVC system, the cost was approximately $12,000. Fast forward to Sept. 2019. My house had been recently placed on the market with my husband already working out of state. I remained here with my 4 children until our house sold. Almost all of our belongings were packed in POD’s. The air conditioner went out so I called Fontenot’s to repair. The technician came out to repair and in the process he exploded water and debris through the bathroom sink connected to the a/c drain pipe. Water flowed over the sink resulting in flooding our floors. Fontenot’s did not lift a finger to assist with mitigating damages. I was told by Fontenot’s that it sounded like a plumbing issue to them and that “the insurance companies will...(at this point the owner bumped his fists together to indicate his insurance would fight ours.)” After months of dealing with insurance and home repairs we were finally able to place our home back on the market which happens to be the same day the “stay at home” order went into place. If Fontenot’s had mitigated the damage my children would not have had to spend 9 months away from their father and we wouldn’t have had to spend thousands to cover PODS storage and additional rent. MAKE NO MISTAKE, Fontenot’s will be great to you while you are paying them thousands BUT DON’T expect them to take responsibility if they make a mistake!!!"

Polyisocyanurate foam, or polyiso for short, has the highest R-value per square inch: 6.5 to 6.8. Polyiso is a rigid foam that comes with a reflective foil on both sides to serve as a radiant barrier. Given its high R-value, rigid foam is usually meant for foundations and basement walls.

For your safety, you should always wear a mask when cutting batts of fiberglass insulation. We also recommend wearing eye protection, safety gloves, and long sleeves to protect your skin. Properly suiting up helps you avoid several fiberglass issues, such as cuts from the tiny shards of glass and inhaling small bits of fiberglass.

Mold can grow on garage ceiling insulation, which is why it’s important to install a vapor barrier behind the insulation and keep the space cooled and heated as you would your living area. Doing so will more or less eliminate the risk of mold growing on your garage ceiling insulation. You can also install a self-draining dehumidifier to help remove moisture, or opt for a foam board insulation or spray foam insulation that won’t harbor moisture and mold.

The best type of attic insulation depends on where you live, your budget, and what stage of construction the attic is in. For example, if you're building a house, then structural insulated panels are a worthy investment since they're easy to install during construction and they're the most energy-efficient type of insulation.  

Additionally, if you live in a very warm climate, then you can potentially save quite a bit of money by opting for reflective insulation, which is more affordable than comprehensive insulation but doesn't work well for cool climates. Blown-in, loose-fill, and spray foam insulation are all great options for attics in moderate climates.

In some cases, yes, insulating an unheated garage can lead to mold and mildew. The issue with insulating a garage is that the interior will warm up and cool down more slowly than the exterior air, which can cause condensation inside the space. Where there is moisture, there is likely to be mold and mildew over time. Installing a vapor barrier can help avoid moisture and mildew problems in an insulated garage.
