Everdry Waterproofing of Cincinnati
Everdry Waterproofing of Cincinnati
EverDry of Cincinnati is a full service basement waterproofing and foundation repair company. Our patented multi-step system is chosen by the vast majority of out customers.
"Horrible horrible experience was lied to constantly didn’t do half of the work. I was told they would do. Cleanup is horrible. About more than half. The house didn’t get a system on the outside. Sump pump was put in the wrong side of the house that we agreed upon they are in no rush to help you. They only work on their time. Told me it was an inconvenience how far away I live after they took the job. I would highly highly recommend to never use Everdry and it was outrageously expensive."

"The inspector contacted me prior to my appointment to get some preliminary information in preparation for our meeting. He arrived on time. We spent some time discussing my concerns about possible settling of my home's foundation and then walked through the basement and exterior. He performed a detailed inspection of the home externally and internally, taking numerous measurements. He showed me the measurements and explained his findings. It turned out, there was no serious settling or shifting of the foundation. Ultimately, his recommendation was to take no action. I appreciate his thoroughness and honesty."

Stay Dry Waterproofing
Stay Dry Waterproofing
Stay Dry Waterproofing, LLC specializes in Waterproofing Basements, foundation settlement repairs, and mold testing and removal. We use patented, safe and proven methods of repair.
"They are overpriced, did not take proper precautions to protect our carpet, promised us professional carpet cleaning, then sent out two of their guys with rags and a shop vac to “clean” the carpets. Then we were told it’s not policy to send out carpet cleaners, and that we’re on our own. We were promised 4 different things involving quality of the project, none were done. This place is a total scam, and has SERIOUS communication and misinformation issues internally. Would never use them again. All they did was open up walls, spray some stuff, made a mess, and left us to handle any problems stemming from their lack of attention to detail, and crappy policies."

Foundation & Structure Repair Group
Foundation & Structure Repair Group
Over 16 years combined experience. We are a family owned-operated business providing affordable Foundation & Structure Repair, Waterproofing and Drainage Services to the entire tri-state area! We offer free estimates. Owners are on site for each job to make sure we deliver professional and high quality work with a warranty.
"Hired FSRG to install a sump pump in basement and a driveway trench drain in front of garage door. They installed the trench drain directly underneath the garage door and we had to insist that it be relocated. After the next heavy rain the sump pump vapor locked and water overflowed from sump well into the basement. FSRG would not address the vapor lock issue stating that they install these pumps all the time and they work fine. My biggest complaint is not that the job was plagued with problems but that I was made to feel like a problem customer when I informed FSRG of the issues with their installation."

I am a one-person corporation that provides structural engineering services to architects, sign companies, homeowners and business owners. Most of my projects are smaller in scope, but I have worked on larger projects as part of a design team headed by a lead architect. As a small company, I often have the flexibility to revise my schedule to meet the needs of a client with a tight timeline on a project that requires only a few hours. I am licensed to practice engineering in the state of Ohio (license #E-48276), and I carry professional liability insurance through the American Society of Civil Engineers. Fees are based on a rate of $75 per hour, with a fixed fee schedule for small signs and similar structures.

FAQs for structural engineering projects in Silver Grove, KY
No, it’s not legal for unlicensed individuals to conduct structural calculations for buildings or building repairs. Not only do licensing requirements prevent DIYers from tackling this project, but mistakes can also be extremely dangerous and put your property and anyone inside or near it at risk of severe injury or even death. You should always hire a licensed and certified local structural engineer to make structural calculations.
Yes, all states require structural engineers to carry the proper license, with specifics determined by each state. You can use Angi’s state licensing tool to confirm that the structural engineer you’re considering holds the required licensing to tackle your job. Hiring an unlicensed structural engineer will not only cause issues with permits but it could also lead to an unsafe building. The cost of a professional, licensed, and experienced engineer is well worth the investment.
The process of hiring a structural engineer starts by finding reliable professionals in your area and comparing quotes from at least three of them. From there, you can narrow down your selection by asking some leading questions:
Do you have experience working in my specific area?
Do you have professional indemnity insurance?
What will your structural report cover?
Do you charge a flat fee for a structural report or by the hour?
How long have you been in business?
Do you have a list of customer references?
Structural engineers typically charge between $100 and $250 per hour, but many jobs won’t be based on a per-hour fee. Instead, the structural engineer will offer a flat rate for the inspection and structural calculations. The flat rate for a structural engineer costs an average of around $550, but you could see prices ranging from $300 to $800, depending on the complexity of your project and how easy it is to access certain parts of your home for the inspection.
Whether you’re building a new home or building an extension on your existing property, you will likely need both a structural engineer and an architect. A structural engineer will determine what loads your foundation and framing can safely handle, and an architect will draw plans according to those structural calculations to simplify the building process. You can start by contacting a structural engineer near you, as many work alongside architects and can get all of the prep work done at once.
