"We were hired to perform a structural inspection of this home because it was being financed with a FHA -backed loan. These loans have guidelines for such inspections. FHA wants to make sure that homes for which it backs loans are safe. I personally have done nearly 3000 of these inspections. Unfortunately, I get clients like Ms. [Member Name Removed] who do not understand the purpose of this inspection. I also often get clients who believe that because their manufactured home has not had a structural issue, it is safe. I would rather that my clients not find out that the home is not safe. I believe that I provided the service that I was paid to do. I also feel better knowing that if Ms. [Member Name Removed] had the repairs done that I required, her home is now a safer home. Quite frankly, that one reason that I do what I do."
