"Our neighborhood was hit by a devastating hailstorm in 2022. The vinyl siding on the north sides of everyone's house was pocked with holes and gashes, roofs catastrophically damaged, broken windows, battered cars, tree limbs everywhere. Steven S at the office ensured that we were scheduled for our repairs and any follow ups that came after. Ben’s hard work, Phillip's word, John's follow-through and the teamwork at Craftsmen all mattered! This experience has taught us that in the process of home repair and restoration (and I imagine in renovation too), you cannot let the idea of the perfect get in the way of the good. And Craftsmen delivers the goods! We have finally, and thankfully, come to the end of repairing our home! We 100% recommend Craftsmen if you are looking for a solid, local company that operates on principles of integrity and that goes the extra mile to ‘make it right.’ Craftsmen, like other companies following the hail event, met a different sort of storm—a storm of people needing repairs. The unusual circumstance meant that Craftsmen had to learn how to navigate a disaster event along the way. But as they learned best practices in the aftermath of our storm, they stood by their work. "I had a very mixed experience with this contractor. The man who came to do the estimate was very friendly and professional. He sold me on getting more expensive "carbon armor" to reinforce a cracked cinderblock foundation wall as opposed to cheaper steel i-beams because of the nature of our repair, the location of some water pipes, and the proximity to our gas line, Then, when the crew showed up to do the work, the foreman tried to sell me on putting in steel beams for the same price as our original "carbon armor" estimate, stating that the beams were actually more expensive, which is a lie and exactly the opposite of what I was originally told. I can only imagine he tried to do this because he did not want to have to work with the more labor-intensive and toxic materials involved with the "carbon armor." Very disappointing. For the price I paid over estimates from their competitors, I expected not to be swindled as such."
