"Greg and his crew were very experienced and did a very nice job. From demo of the existing old deck to the construction of our new composite deck we were pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them."

"We asked Chris Price and his crew to help us with a leak we recently discovered in our roof. Chris came out immediately to take a look and give us an estimate for the job. They have done quite a bit of work for us in the past, and we knew they would do the job quickly, professionally and at a reasonable price. The job turned out to be bigger than we had thought when they discovered more rotten wood in another area of the roof, but Chris was prepared with enough materials to take care of everything that needed to be done. When they were done they were careful to clean-up the work area as well, which is always a big plus. We are very satisfied with the work done, and the reasonable price. I would recommend Prodigy Roofing to anyone."

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Very detail oriented, quick responses to our questions and building choices.

Uses a program called Co-Construct keeping him and us on the same page during the building. This program also tracks payment schedule. As changes, adds, or deletes occur it follows all the tweaks in written versus verbal format.

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

The average build timeline for a home is between six and 12 months, with timelines pushing toward the upper end of that range if you’re creating a custom design or need a lot of land preparation before getting started. Hiring a general contractor or a custom homebuilder will help speed up the process, as you’ll see fewer delays between different parts of the build process getting done.

Typically, general remodeling involves architects, contractors, interior designers, electricians, plumbers, and sometimes structural engineers. Each plays a role in bringing the project from concept to completion.

There are several different steps in the pole barn building process. First, you’ll need construction plans, which you’ll use to obtain permits. Then, you can clear the land so it’s suitable for building and installing the foundation. Your contractor will frame the barn using large poles, then rough in the plumbing and electricity (if your barn has those elements) before finishing the interior, adding siding, and installing the roof.

After that, they’ll finish up the electrical work and plumbing and add your windows and doors. You may have a few other finishing jobs to do like painting or waterproofing.

You'll find Arts and Crafts homes across the country in varying styles. On the East Coast, bungalows and Tudor Revivals fill the Boston area through New Jersey. In the West, Mission-style homes incorporate terracotta shingles, white stucco siding, and rounded archways.

No, space planning is not only relevant for new spaces. With the help of a professional architect, you can still create a space plan for an existing space.
